Depends on size of your pot. When you say 'waterings', I think you mean having watered more than once. The usual method to flush is to water once with a lot of plain water. Typical number quoted here is water equal to 3 times the amount of soil. Done when pronounced problems have appeared, such ph problem or salt build up.

i did mean each water, so i watered once with plain water and molassis and watered, then two days later i did it again, i am wondering how much i should do it before i harvest, my pots are 3 gallons, each plant has had 2 gallons of plain water so far, i plan on watering every second day with lpain water for about 10 days.

That seems reasonable as far as water goes. Every 2 days might be a little too often. Depends on your soil/temperature conditions. I was more familiar with the 'sickness' flush. Still waiting for 1st indoor harvest. Outside grows were a lot simpler in some ways. Crop rustling was the downside.

The flush you are reffering to is the ripening flush. Depending on your taste you may stop (or drastically reduce the amount of nutes fed) anywhere from 7-20 days from harvest.

Most growers use pure water with no nutes at around 10 days from finish. You may add mollasses to the very end as well... as it helps the fattening of the buds. But you want to start the mollases well before the flushin period begins.

About the last 40 or so days of flowering is when i have heard is the best time to start. However some growers feed with mollases the entire grow cycle in order to build thick strong plants with fat buds. This will leave your soil with a sticky residue tho.

I'll get to flushing after I comment on your watering...

Most people use the "lift the pot" method for determining when to water. Basically, pay attention to roughly how heavy the pot is when you first fill it with soil. First off, you should water until it runs out the bottom of the pot....every time. You don't want the bottom few inches staying dry. Also, don't leave water in the drip pan either, you don't want soggy roots. After you water, wait until it's basically that dry to water again...If it gets too dry, they'll let you know...give them water & they'll perk up in a few hours. You'll figure out their schedule quickly, mine is normally about every 4 days.

I flush with 3x the amount of water it takes to run out the bottom of the pot...if it takes 1 gallon to run out the bottom, I give them a total of 3 gallons.

A lot of people debate on the value of flushing before harvest...I'm doing it for now, but it doesn't seem logical that you'd deprive them for the last 2 weeks of their lives, but whatever...

I start the flush roughly 2 weeks before I think they're going to be done. Normally week 7ish. I've been flushing back to back waterings at the start of the 2 weeks, then 1 or 2 regular waterings followed by 1 more flush at the end.

I'd love to hear other people's method for doing this too!!

thank you sheep dog, i would also love some people feedback, but what you said is pretty much what i do, waiting till the pot is light. I was just unsure of best way for flushing, i guess i will give them plenty next watering!!
