How much to tip the MMJ delivery driver?

There is a delivery service near me I want to try. I'm curious what everyone thinks is a reasonable / average tip vs. good tip? I wouldn't expect truly sick people to tip any more than they could afford. However I just use MMJ for insomnia and I've got a good job, and just like the pizza delivery person these folks use their own vehicles and work hard and deserve to be able to eat and pay rent like everyone else. I want to make sure I give the driver a good tip. Problem is I have no clue what that might be. What does everyone else think would be appropriate for 1/8, 1oz etc? Any MMJ delivery drivers reading this board feel free to chime in. I want to be sure I take care of you appropriately.

Why do many people place Pot as some humanitarian, love your brother cause where the grower and/or the delivery person should take it up the A*** . Shit 15% tip nominal just like any other commodity unless he/she screws up, if U can afford it. It takes gas, insurance, car payments , the whole thing. MJ is a business just like any other. It is like pizza, it gets consumed

it is a humanitarian effort you ass hat, your telling me i should charge a parapalegec with no job on ssi for the weed he already buys, because i delivered it, people that deliver already know what they are doing if they cant have any compasion then they should work on wallstreet, we are in a war to get it legal so by putting stupid bs fees on weed delivery is just retarded, ps insurance company get wind of you delivering narcotics they will cancel your ass if your bank gets wind of you delivering in a car thay you are paying on that they hold the title to then they will repo your shit, i know this first hand it happened to my best friend three months ago, got pulled over as a legal mmj patient doing a delivery for a tail light failure, didnt even get a ticket, 2 days later insurance broker called said your canceled we wont insure drug involved clients, bank called the same day said they were not going to lose the car due to illegal activities

First, why the personal insult? The subject is TIPS, not charges, I said IF you can afford it. Secondly, those that do not have the frame of mind that MMJ is a business is doomed. Reality Son.

That's obvious. Must have been IVORY League .

Considering their profit margins, I'd agree with zero
OK that certainly is true IF you know the driver is the supplier as well. But you see ads all the time for these places wanting to hire drivers. For example the service I'm going to order from later today or tomorrow has an ad right on their home page that they are hiring drivers. Clearly, the people they hire to just do delivery who are not supplying are making a low wage, paying for their own gas, wear and tear on their vehicles, etc. Those people should be tipped just like a pizza driver. I'm just trying to figure out how much is a good tip and how much would be considered average or low. I always want to be a good tipper with the pizza delivery driver and same for the MMJ delivery driver. Now if I know for a fact they are the grower, then no tip is necessary for sure. But how to know that? I'm not going to stiff someone who is just doing a delivery job barely making enough to scrape by on.

If you can afford a buck or two, tip your driver, its a service and it's the right thing to do. Compassion is always considered, but consider that he or she too has bills to pay, gas to fill up, lunch to eat, etc!

I guarantee you that those that tip, get extras!

The driver is just that, a driver!

I used to deliver flowers and hardly made shit and people never tipped me, it sucked. I would carry these huge ass dozen roses, crazy tropical bouquets all over hell and up 30 stories and have to track down some lucky lady and I would get stiffed 99% of the time. =(

So for me personally I'd just say anything is a nice gesture, maybe $5 or something dumb for an 1/8th, just so the guy can grab some lunch or something. It's not like they aren't taking any risk in doing what they do. Hook em' up a little. =)

BTW, how awesome is it that we're even talking about something like this!? I mean seriously though, I thought I'd never see the day when it's mostly legal to get weed delivered lol. =D

I am a delivery driver now, its always a nice gesture.... Use those tips for gas, lunch, cofee, etc.....

I tip anyone that I feel deserves it, waitresses, door man, luggage handlers, taxi drivers,MMJ delivery drivers...

If your satisfied with the service, product or overall interaction, tip your boy and stop being cheap!

Each patient/customer holds a value and those that take care of their driver are always given extra consideration...especially when Im putting packages together!

Delivering it is his job, that's what he's paid for, no tip :) if he does something above and beyond to deserve a tip, that's a different question.

I'd have ordered 3.5 so that's what i want. The idea of living off tips is fucking stupid imo, no wonder people are scared of immigrants taking their jobs if they can't even negotiate a livable salary without having to rely on peoples generosity instead. That's called being a beggar.
