Man. I missed a deal yesterday.. some hydro store owner closing up… 6 gallon jugs of GH Trio for $120 for the set!… last time I bought a 6 gallon trio, it was $400+ bucks. He sold out about 400 jugs to 3 buyers on FB in about 4 hours.

@PJ Diaz .. What is this SMOG shit? I mean, I've heard of it, but is it some sort of requirement there in Cali? Is it like SMOG compliant or something? We don't have that kinda stuff around here. No yearly inspections of cars (that died out in the 80's).. you can run a lawn mower down the hwy as long as you have a tag, turn signals, brake lights, and a mirror. Alot of folks are running Polaris RZR's on the streets here. I can get a Polaris Ranger Crew Cab fully enclosed, with heat and AC for around 30K,... but 30K buys alot of fuel for my F150 Platinum. I don't drive it much anyways... 2013 with 57K miles on it.

Just checked Propane too.. $2.14 right now. I should prob fill up. I got a 500g tank. With 20% headroom, thats still gonna run almost a G to fill up.. getting low. But!.. a tank will last me over a year... as long as we don't have winter temps in the sub zero range for a few days in a row this fall/winter.

In Cali you are required to get a smog check every two years, or anytime you sell the vehicle. Smog check usually costs around $50 if you pass. Cars older than 30-years are exempt from smog checks. It's both a physical inspection and also emissions. They look the emissions system over, then stick a prob in the exhaust while the car runs are various rpm's for 5 to 10 minutes. If you have a check engine light on you can't pass smog, even if everything else if perfect. Smog is a pain. It's also stupid that the real smog contributors (old cars) are for some reason exempt from smog.

Yeah... that seems kinda stupid to exempt the older cars that are emitting more carbons than newer vehicles. I didn't realize how much exhaust gasses my Stihl equipment was emitting until I starting blowing out the garage with the blower, and the smoke alarms started going off. I blew down my Bad Boy mower down tonight with the LED bar light still on.. you could see the exhaust in the light beam. It is a 2 stroke tho... they just make it with the oil/gas mix.

CO, and other states exempt classic cars from emissions testing. Some countries too don't give a shit in small towns since there's not a shitload of people in them. Here in CO cars before 75 can be considered collector items and exempt. I'm gonna save my money for The General.
