How much is in a lid?

I wouldn't doubt that I was really getting ripped off. Unfortunately, there apparently wasn't much price competition in 1970 small town/rural Alabama regarding weed, so I guess it was getting ripped off or not being able to get high - I chose the latter.
Uh, the former, no?

Okay...A nickle bag was 5 grams for $5...on a balance scale, a nickle weighs 5 grams ergo a Nickle bag...a Dime bag was actually 10 grams and weighed 2 nickles and cost $10...a Lid was 20 grams and $20, an Ounce was/is 28 grams...When prices started to rise it threw everything out of wack, soon a Nickle bag was anything from 3.5grams(1/8oz.) to 7 grams(1/4 oz.) and sold for $5 - $25. This is first hand knowledge from the late 60's to early 70's
