How many time do you check your plants?

i would come home from work and walk right in their room and check on them, and every hour after lol.
Hi Mastakoosh - i noticed that for your location you have "in the depths of uranus" no doubt using the similarity between uranus and your anus as a little play on words.

I thought you should know the International Astronomers Union convened on 4/1/98 to discuss this dilemma and decided to rename the planet to avoid these unfortunate jokes and eradicate this scourge once and for all. I just wanted to share that with you so you can avoid any future embarrassments.
The scientists decided to rename the planet urectum.

email468 made a funny...

Yeah, I check that shit several times a day. Before I go to work, on my lunch if I'm close enough, and at least 4 times after I come home. I have to agree though that they sometimes do better if I leave them alone. Alas, I'm afraid something might happen to the equipment, so it's rare I leave them alone. I went to the 'rents for the weekend two weeks ago and I was so nervous about leaving them that I bought a UPS in case the power went out!!!

lol this is just way too funny and if my gf read this she'd be writing all over here trying to understand why i spend more time with the plants then I do with her.. My lights turn on at 7am and off at 5:45pm.. In the morning even if I have had only 2hrs of sleep I am right at the door waiting for the lights to turn on.. At this point almost 4 months she is not willing to do this for a very long time.. :D I visit my plants about 50x a day to the point i get headaches cause of the HPS light... lmao!! Man this stuff is like a bad habit.. lol I love growing to much!!

On my first grow, I was in and out of my grow room uncountable times a day. But now I only check on them once a day, unless I am having PH or PPM issues. If so, I will check them once in the morning and once at night, or as needed.

I go on and off. Today I have only checked on them about once or twice, maybe three times. Some days I check on them constantly for no apparent reason, then the next (as in today) I have the "fuck it" mentality, to let it take it's course, almost like who cares what ever happens is meant to happen. (talking about waiting impatiently for the sex of the plant):hump::blsmoke:

pff, you can never smoke too much dank! what kind of nonsense is that!

I havent named mine yet, but i do have them numbered for conversational purposes with my dad. Ill tell him how "number 3 has a yellow leaf and needs some N, but number 8 grew like 5 inches!"

Thank God. I was beginning to think I needed a 12 step program specifically for this. Problem is that I can't seem to find a "Friends of Bud" locally. :)

You guys should include your girlfriends/wives in your grow. Tell them whats going on and what your doing. They will probably appreciate the time and money spent to grow a living things. When you think about it its pretty damn cool. Really like raising a child( not quite but you know what I mean ), so women are more prone empathize with your need to go in there all the time if you put it to them like that. My husband and I chill in the room together talk and watch our only two children. We even built the hydro system together from scratch which was good quality time. :blsmoke:

i think it is good money to bet most of us did this and many continue to do so.

I will say that my plants have never grown better or faster than the times i've had to leave them be. sometimes the more you love them the less they grow.
I agree. This grow, I only see my plants when I feed/water, and twice a week I will spend about 5 minutes pulling dead leaves off of them and checking for mold and other problems. I hardly see them and they are doing amazingly well. I have broken myself of the need to gawk at them every 5 minutes when I am home. It's great. The grow flies by much faster when you aren't obsessed.
