Just got a new tent I wanna use 3 gallons pots how many plants can I get in a 4x8x6.5ft tent? I will be using 2 air cooled 1000w hps lights.

Like bulla said it really depends on how long you plan on vegging. I crammed 50 into a 4x8 and it was way too crowded. I would say 50 is the maximum if you are doing a zero veg sog, 32 for a low veg scrog, 18 for a 3 week veg, and around 8 if you are doing a 6-8 week veg.

Was that 50 straight from clones? Im thinking about a 3-4 week veg i wanna do a monthly perpetual.

u gotta figure out your strains flower time then add on how many weeks u wanna flower and how many plants u want in there i harvest 7-8 plants a week with 56 or so plants stuffed in my space they get about 18 inches tall and i bend the hell outta them i use 1 gallon pots and they are always rooted heavy at harvest time i veg about 2-4 weeks depends

Sounds about right to me. I veg for 6 weeks, train, and only flower 6 in my 4x4 tent (12 plant limit; perpetual) using 3 and 5 gallon pots. I could fit 9 plants in there, but it would be pretty crowded with my current grow methodology. I would probably veg less, not do any topping or training (which is what causes my veg to be so long currently), and then I could fit 9ea 3 gallon pots easier.
