How many mg gabapentin do you take

Holy shit this sciatica i got going fucking sucks bad. My doctor originally prescribed me 100mg x 3 a day. Doesn’t seem to be doing shit! We had a telephone follow up today. It didn’t make me want to kill myself and didn’t make me drowsy at all. Got her to up it to 600mgx2.
I fucking hate pills. i asked around to everyone I know about this drug and turns out, it’s like every mother fucker is on it.
my ex wife, 600mg x2 a day.

i popped 2 more(100mg) gonna pop another 2 here in a minute before bed.
Anyone have experience with it here? am I wasting my time? @curious2garden

Makes me dumber then shit, I'd rather be drunk. It did nothing for my neuropothy.
I was taking 300mg 3x day.
I took a day and ate some Oil that was gifted to me, slept for about 12 hours, that helped and with the hang over, stepping gently
reminded me to be careful.
..and Hydrate!

No not yet but I should. That and a hot tub is what I should get. I’m trying to wait getting a pimp ass hot tub once the house is built but i’m seriously tempted to just buy one of those cheap plug and play(120v) ones for now. I got no excuse why I haven’t gotten an inversion table yet except been super busy.

My new Doc ordered another Xray. Then I’ll have to do PT again, just so I can get an MRI. Just for them to tell me I need surgery again. Just for me to say fuck it again and give up again :-(

I don’t understand why they think pt helps these issues. wtf like you don’t move around enough? Ridiculous protocols. It’s all about the money anymore brother.
I finally went to a pain dr. He’s young, I like that in a dr. Willing to try things. Gonna give me injections in my knee, hip and back. I said go for it man.
Idk about your insurance but I don’t stop with drs until I get what I need. I mean they do PRACTICE medicine after all. They’re definitely not experts.
Don’t give up friend.

Gabapentin, as you have experienced, doesn't really work for neuropathy. But dosage for it is usually a range of 1800-3600 mg/day. I never took it.

You'd may wish to discuss an SSRI type anti depressant with your physician because you are using a lot of serotonin from the pain.

My plan is to see how 1200 mg/day does
And if it doesn’t seem worth it after about a week, i’m gonna stop.

You're a decent sized guy so I'd try it at the minimum 1800 (call the doctor and bring up the study and dosing schedule). I'm really sorry you are going through this. It is hell. I've used both a spa and an inversion table. The effects from the inversion table last longer but the spa is admittedly heaven.

I miss my hot tub sooooooo much!
My last one was a Sundance. Bought in 2011. The same model today is 16K :o i had JUST gotten a new cover for it before the fire lol.
The thing was bad ass though.

Yeah, not cheap. Think I got mine for a little less but that was about 7 years ago. If you look at the pics there's these little dots...all are different heights.....you can put them anywhere on there and they are amazing for knots in your back.
