How many have seen a gun pulled on another, except legally by cops?

Have you witnessed a gun being pointed at another illegally?

Absolutly not. I am pretty sure the guy that shot me wasn't legally allowed to own a firearm. Which kind of worked out. Since he shot me with a .32 caliber revolver most likely stolen from some one. The cars window and the threading on my jacket saved my life.
Do you carry one now?

Yes!!!!!!!......point blank.....to death!
Exactly! Robbers know the risks that come with their choice of work. They know that they might get caught...or shot. Yet, they still choose to try and steal peoples shit.

If you're willing to do the crime...you must be willing to pay the consequences.

About 5 years ago, in my wifes small home town, someone got their car stuck and walked to the nearest farm. He tried stealing a car, but couldn't get it started. He went into the house to find keys to their vehicles. While in there he decided to kill the family. The dad and one kid were killed. The mom lived, but is permenantly disabled. One kid hid and was not harmed. True story.

Point being....if he was caught, shot, and killed while trying to steal the car the first time, a family would still be alive and together.

If they weren't caught or shot they'd brag about stealing your shit and possibly be back......not to mention they probably would have a gun themselves.........how's it go?shoot first, ask questions later........BANG!BANG!......."STOP!YOUR ON PRIVATE PROPERTY!"...........

I'm not a violent person at all. But, if I think you might hurt my son...I will shoot you. If you're in my garage in the middle of the night, you will be shot. I will lose zero sleep over killing someone who I might think could do my family harm.

Disclaimer: Anyone who leaves my stuff, family, and safety alone...will not be shot.bongsmilie

stuff really is not worth a life

imho

now your crop isnt stuff if you live as a grower . . but its close too as it can easily be replicated . . . .

id rather shoot to wound or scare . . . if there wasnt any imminent danger was obvious

a gun is a easy way to convince another to stop . . .it normally doesnt incite anger . .

Shooting to wound is a good way to get yourself killed.

its just my way of thinking, stuff is not worth a life , if shooting is necessary it can be done easily without taking a life

it can also easily kill so . . its 50/50 what do you have to loose trying to wound . . how many people have you seen shot that continue to attack and if they have a gun you can shoot em agian . . guess you have to be able to aim in order to expect to shoot and wound

number one way to avoid having to shoot someone for B&E is keep your house secure . . ..

I don't think that stuff is worth a life, either. That's why I don't risk my life trying to steal stuff.

The crooks know the risks, yet....

id say in the heat of the moment 100% id shoot ask questions later, but if things seemed as if they were decelerating . . .then a calm collected me might have time to think . . i guess in the end its all situational and conditional

What I know for a fact, NO ONE knows what they will do in a situation like that.

Bullshit!

Is he in my house? Is he in my garage? Is it the middle of the night? Is my family home?

I can tell you with 100% accuracy that I would shoot them!

That doesn't count.

I want as a citizen. So no on duty militia or LEO, including FBI, CIA, etc.
I have never had a gun pulled on ME, but I have pulled a gun on a huge 300 pound dude who barrelled through my door wacked out on meth thinking it was his Grandmother's house, got his ass settled down in a quick hurry, no one got hurt.

The other time I pulled on someone was when i worked for the Railroad and was staying in a hotel room and woke up to find some dude rifling through my pockets, he ended up losing his own pocket contents and lost his job as the night-clerk of that motel. No one injured.

None of these instances was illegal though, so I guess to answer your question. Never seen a gun illegally pulled on anyone, ever. And i have been almost everywhere. Lived on east coast, west coast, mid-west, deep south, and way up north. Been to every continent on this world except for Antarctica.
