When your on a 24/0 light cycle, your levels of peroxidases are greatly decreased. Seeing as how your a pro grower you should know that peroxidases are the walls of your plants enzymes which, wouldn't you know it, regulate the plants resistancy to pathogens or disease whether they are ionic or covalent. Also your more likely to encounter a problem such as the mitotic index decreasing due to the inhability to complete a photosynthic cycle meeting the plants metabolite and hydration requirements.

And let's back up a minute, do you TRULY think, that my lack of EXPERIENCE growing, would hinder my ability to know how much light they should receive, UNLIKE YOU, i've read and read and read (oh, and comprehended, i think that's your problem), and he wanted to know what would be IDEAL, the BEST, etc. your plants WILL grow in 90degree ambient temp won't they? but are the better off at 75?

and by the way, im 6yrs old

Time to chill people... can you stop the agro name calling... seriously

The only time I go 24 - 0 is the day before 12-12. Other than that I like to give everything at least 30-60 minutes rest every 24 hours, including the equipment (fans, lights etc).

Maybe 24-0 is best, but it just doesn't make complete sense to me, everything should sleep a bit.

Ok. This thread should have ended slot soon than this. What's wrong with everyone. I haven't been on here in a while. I come back to fighting. Your all give a bad name to potheads.

All this arguing gets you nowhere. You can tell someone stubborn they're wrong but guess what that person won't hive a Fuck.

But one thing. Everyone has their own opinions. I respect thy when others don't. But stop comparing a plant with a human. It just don't work. Humans need sleep. But the millions of people who grow weed under 24/0 lights have proved tht plants don't neccesarily don't need sleep. They're not going to work any less harder. That's just rediculous.

Just go 20/4 until it gets around 12 inches. That way you have no room for error or mishap unless the plant itself is in bad shape. Then towards flowering day by day move the day/night back about 15/30 minutes schedules until you hit 12/12 or 14/10 the plant needs a good 8 hrs of sleep in darkness just like us humans.

I love RIU for this.... entertainment.

I veg 24/0 all the way to flower then switch to 12/12. And my plants KICK ASS all the way through. You've been given bad information colliebud... But like other's have said, you just have to find what works for you bro, and go with it. good luck to ya.

And if plants sleeps like humans and ALL animal life on the planet, then having it on 24 hours straight is just costing extra money in electricity without added benefit.

And humans can sleep with the lights on or off, so the comparison does seem to have some validity.

I dont use a spell checker, it's obvious you do though so all you need now is a grammer checker and your complete.

You clearly get your growing knowledge from the US Goverment or whatever as you stated 2 pages back so i will not question you again, they must be right.

Your first ever grow is looking alright too, just read all 6 threads you have made, you really need to get a x30 mag, it's the only way to tell if your trichromes are ready. How did an expert like you not know that? You cannot tell just by your pistils turning amber, i thought i'd anwser your question here.
