How long to veg in soil for 5 foot plants

The highest I can let my plants get with my ceilings and the pots they're in is 5' high, so how long do you think I should veg to reach this goal?

Its not really a matter of how long to veg, but how big to veg. Are they indica or sativa? Indica veg to about 2 feet tall. They should roughly double in size during flowering. If sativa veg till 1.5-2feet tall as they way double or triple in size.

What kind of lights? How wide/deep is grow space?
