How long to veg in 3.5 Gal pots?

Hi guys, I picked up a bunch of 3.5G pots for my plants, and now I'm not sure they will be big enough for the roots. What would you say is a good veg time for these plants? I'm using a 1000w MH/HPS for veg/flower, if it matters. If possible I would want to flower for no less then 2.5-3 weeks. 3.5 weeks would probably be ideal, but I'm afraid this might be too much for those pots.

What do you think?

I'm sure you meant veg not flower right ? That's a healthy sized pot IMHO, so go the 3.5 weeks then, (I'd go 4-6 myself, depends how many plants)

OK, then you need to do some more reading up on growing cause you can't just stop flowering after even 3 weeks and expect anything but some good leaves to extract oil out of. The fastest maturing strains take a minimum of 6 weeks. The super strains take longer, 8-10 weeks ballpark. Hazes 12-14+ (my fav !)

Dude they don't really root much during flowering... you could probably veg for quite a few months AND flower in those pots.

No no no, I meant 3.5 weeks of veg.. :) haha
