How long from germination does it take to show sex

not to argue in someone else's thread, but I am going to disagree with you. I was taught by two Master growers over 20 years. I have yet to miss a female or a male. males grow fast and tall, females grow slower and take longer to show their sex. male plants are always opposing branches. go look. Female plant are always alternating. go look. That is how I was taught, and that is how I have done. It works. peace.

I know it looks like it should be but its not ... Just more undergrowth it's only on its 6th node but still no sign of anything. I can wait to see if it's male or female I'm not inpatient but they just look so beautiful that if even one is male I'll cry lol ... But these beans came from 3 separate nugs of the same bud and it was really good bud so I'm going off the fact that it might be already feminized... But I was thinking maybe switching to HPS in a few days cause I know they usually double in height when flowering
All the bagseeds I've grown have been female. Odds are it is, just keep an eye out.

Well still no sex showing but I have a feeling. They are female . No worries arguments Happen in threads ... Just comes down to personal opinion but their not even a month old yet lol so that's probably the reason why I can't tell ... They germinated on the 18th of last month so they may appear older than they actually are here's a few photos tell me if you see anything else besides the alternating branches

No worries, they just aren't mature yet. Should start in the next few weeks
These are the best looking plants I think I've ever grown ... Their gene pool is very strong and show explosive growth and strong branches ... Especially under growth with long branches stretching out from the main stalk to get some light ... I just feel like their females ... But I don't want to jynx it : x

Is this a female preflower .. It's pretty small as of yesterday and a bit bigger today it's in the corner of the right node next to the newly sprouted leaf ... I'm thinking female but not too sure

Gonna have to wait a couple days longer to be sure. But IMO that looks like a female preflower, they're pointier than males. Just watch for a hair to start poking out of it.

Yeah they all have that but I couldn't tell if that was new undergrowth or it showing sex ... And is normal to get 9 fingered leaves? I never really seen 9 usually 7

A bit blurry but looks like a female preflower on the right.

Thanks for posting. I wasn't even going to answer that post about generalizations and wives tales. Go look? That was funny! Another generalization or observation about sexing is: look for the stipule to lean away from the stalk when plant is ready to show preflower. It's like they are making room for the addition of the sex organs.
Yeah they are fully extended Away from the main stalk ... And thanks now let's hope the other two are fems as well

Damn 11 that's crazy and I thought 9 was special lol
Given I mostly grow heavy sativa.. I have grown plenty others.
I've found number of blades to be directly correlated to light intensity. Not necessarily duration. You can purposely give a plant little light and keep it 3-5blades. Holding 3 it may die, I wanna say maintaining photosynthesis at 2k lumens.

You can then blast the plant just before it bleached. The leaves are thicker and have a distinguishable appearance

I've found in general each k is a leaf or 10k lux.

This does also have to do with genetics..

I've seen 15 blades leaves.. Normally 11 for me

The landrace sats... are they as finicky/sensitive as ive read?
Eh.. It depends
I've had 6month Columbians that like like a dread head Jamaican. Foxtailing so hard there arsnt even buds. Just dangling strands with space Maybe 1/8 inch between calyx.
Smelled like an orange flavored arm pit maybe foot. These terps really effective at stopping certain molds prominent in the region same with structure.

They also have traditionally been grown quite different.
Slash and burn providing most of the fert. They can be super n sensitive.. Mag and pk hungry.. Some other micro nutes.

They have challenges. Much harder to grow than say my dear master kush clone but nothing even a new grower wouldn't have a blast doing. Imo you learn more like this and faster.. A sensitive plant teaches quick
