How long are people waiting to hear back from Health Canada ?

we've had people like @oddish who were all over LP cannabis and then after a few disappointments discovered what we've been saying.
These days I sample from everywhere.
Broken Coast and Canopy are both shipping quality product.
Aphria, Aurora, Tilray and a few others were far less than great.
Dispensaries in Toronto are selling some amazing sativas, but they're $11-15/gram.

#1 source is still London Compassion Society. Best price, consistent quality.

Fuck tasty budds they are fucking gangsters selling mexican cartel hash. Saw the stamp on the brick with my own eyes and I do speak a little spanish.. Plus half the weight was water soluble cuts/fillers.
Tried to tell myself it wasnt true. The next time I came in i was not offered compensation and was told it was from out east

Are you able to give us a smokers opinion on irradiated weed? Are you able to tell if the weed has been irradiated or not? Do the LPs tell you if it has been irradiated or not? A different taste or color perhaps?

I avoid the irradiated stuff when I can, but I have definitely tried some from 3 or 4 of the LPs, including Tweed.
They all tell you, somewhere, that it's irradiated so that you know. They all also offer non-irradiated strains from what I'm seeing (there may be some exceptions).

For me, the smoke itself was the same. I didn't notice any difference on that side.
Where I noticed a difference was the taste and the bag appeal. The taste always seemed a tad more lackluster and visually they always looked a bit off.
I don't think the irradiation changes the visuals as much as just being out, handled and exposed more takes some of the life away from the buds.

Either way, I prefer not to use it but I'm not that concerned - it is a technology that they use on many things.

Delivered October 7th Still nothing back from HC.

spoke with them today and its "in processing".

Great - current MMPR authorization is expiring next week, looks like ill be without valid authorization unless HC speeds things up.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that authorization starts from once the Dr. signs. You should be fine.

Well the prescription time starts from the date the script is signed...

Unfortunately I don't think that translates to grow rights though. In the interim, it will be used as proof of prescription/medical need if asked by any authorities.

i wonder about that. your Dr says you can use it but it's not valid until HC says so?
that sounds so wrong.....

I'd imagine a half competent lawyer could successfully fight any charges assuming you are within your limits otherwise.

Who wants to be the guinea pig though?
that's my thought too.
sure we're covered and can fight it but what's the cost? i am sure we'd win the case or have the charges dropped but at what cost? it's more than money because look at the time you have to put into defending yourself.

My understanding is that once the script is written, you have the right to it. The forms we send in are a "registration" not an "application". If you're growing now I'd suggest keeping a copy of your prescription and registration form until you get processed and should you get visited in the meantime you'll have proof of your right. Of course this is not legal advice but I think it gives you an extra leg to stand on.

Question; for you guys who have already gotten your paperwork, do they give you anything to carry for when you are in public and get stopped by the cops?
