While this might not be relevant to the ph topic,
A frost is the one of the most deadly plant killers, yet it sweetens certain crops like carrots, broccoli, kale, etc. also during the end of flowering I’m sure there are many plants that yellow off in nature, are you gonna give cal mag to your maple trees so the leaves don’t turn yellow and red in September?

The maple tree isn’t too bothered by its leaves turning yellow. The bitter cold is what makes the sweetest sap flow in the spring.

with weed the faded leaves doesn’t always mean faded buds. I pick the buds while they’re still lime green but I’m sure everyone here would tell me “two more weeks” “wait until 100% amber trichs bro”

In these claims about plants producing more resin late in flower what do you folks mean by that exactly?
Does the plant sprouts more trichs?
Or maybe the trichs get bigger, where is this increase seen someone enlighten me?

I see trichs forming early i didn't think more would appear at the end because of drought or 24hrs in the dark or whatever but I'm open to learning?

Really the thread is about plant fade tward the end of harvest.. @OldMedUser and i were just talking about how we read that drought conditions can increase reson/ trich production

I was at the hardware store buying large mouth quart ball jars for canning...and an old hippie hanging by the register said "Ah, I know what you're doing...you're storing the kind!" Which sort of alarmed me because I'm not really into public displays...he then went on to clarify: "How many trees do you tap and how much syrup to you end up with each season?"
