How far will pollen travel

Was planning on moving selected male maybe 200 yds. Did I hear Greenhouse video say pollen has traveled hundreds of kms.

In the correct conditions, maybe 28 miles, but in normal conditions, maybe a mile or two.

Damn, that is further than I would have thought. I'm growing two kinds bag seed in one of my patches, and they may be too close {1/2 mile} to the other stuff. If my Sidetracked: strain would make a few males like normal dope, I wouldn't have even planted them. But I want to make sure I have some sort of pollen.

I've had a male prevailing down wind within 50 yards with zero seeds. I have also had plants with several seeds -- no nanners or hermies -- and no male plant anywhere around (that I knew of). Hope that helps lmao.

Last year I had some males up on my hillside probably 100 yards away from my other plants and none of them got pollinated.. I also had some other plants that were about 20 yards away that did get pollinated... So it's somewhere between 20-100 yard

That makes me feel better. I'm hoping for so many males I will have to make a chart just to keep track of them all. Most likely that will not happen.

Why do you want that many males? a little bit of pollen can make 1000 seeds

2100 miles.
I hopped on a flight from Sacramento in Chicago and my head was plugged up before I could put the seat belt on.

The pollen is very heavy compared some grasses and trees. A mile or 2 seems about right.

The strain I'm growing doesn't make very many males. I'm growing out the F2's, looking for that golden bean. I will choose the best male{s}, but it would be nice to have more to choose from.

Move it to the north and to the east of your females a couple hundred yards and you should be fine.
