How Exactly Will Light Leaks Effect A Grow Room?

I have been arguing the fact to a grow buddy that light leaks even little bb sized leaks will effect the grow for the worse. What are some side effects of light leaks to a small frow room. You could fit about six or eight 3 ft plants in. I need facts to argue to them. All I know is it might not flower at all and could produce one plant thats both male and female.

Hermaphrodite's is an outcome. Some of the plant wont produce bud's or be as thick as the others.

hermies are a definate possibility.. it pretty much just puts stress on the plant...

hermie is probable but ive had light leaks all the time and never had any hermies at all. what i normally do is i always talk to them and ask them to just be strong and to never ever think about becoming hermies and up to now ive been more than happy with my results and when i sprout regular seeds (not feminized) i end up getting 8 females out of 10 seeds about 90% of the time. i always advice people to talk to their little girls and to tell them to be strong and to produce a lot..... youll be surprised how much it actually works bro.........

It can lengthen flower time, cause hermies, etc... It is not beneficial, that is for sure.

i definately feel ya on this post, i do the same thing to my girls... some people even play music for em... whatever works or makes them comfortable...DO IT.. less stress is always best

Think about a full moon on a clear night... can be quite bright. I have had a bunch of leaked light befor and never a herm or any other problems

Ok dude obviously you are a complete noob to growing. Not a bad thing just a newbie. Harvard scientist studied the affects of music on plants. The plants that grew close to the speakers grew taller stronger and all around a more healthy plant. The ones away from the speakers did normally. Im not saying you have to for a healthy plant it just helps. Treat your plants like a queen and in the end they will treat you like a god.

bro unlike you i wont thrash you or try to put you down but i will say this read about plants in general a bit more and youll find out. but most importantly give it a try before you wipe your ass before taking a shit.................. heres a link for starters..........................

talking to them and music can work..talking to them can add extra co2 to the environment...we breathe out co2...and the music can cause vibrations and slight wind..which helps to recreate nature...all these things can help...just dont look too deep into it...and small light leaks are ok..just depends on how much light they get...if any light caused hermies then all outdoor plants would be hermies...unless where you live there is no moon...though to much light will cause hermies and keep plants from going into flower.a small amount of light wont cause too many issues at all

Breathing produces Co2 which helps plants grow. So talking to them would obviously help.

Talking to plants doesnt release enough co2 to even be measured in anything larger then a microwave box little along a room you can walk in.
I dont believe in the music thing either as my buddy growing the same plants from the same moms in the same dirt using the same nuits and same light but plays them music always yeilds less then me. I talk trash to my girls. Make them feel small and weak and in return they get pissed and try to prove me wrong

the article does mention that it did work and it does ive tried it myself. if you need "scientific proof" then i suggest to do some researcj for yourself and youll find out........ oh and btw this is what i use for music and like i said unless you havent tried it dont say that it dont work.......................
