One word- Cold. After the bulb has cooled off to room temp , place it carefully in a plastic bag then into the freezer. The coefficent thermal between glass and plastic are different, and you can usally scrape (very carefully) with the edge of a new single edge razor blade to lift up the edge of the plastic. As you work on the bulb, it will start to condense due the different temps of the glass and the surrounding air. This makes it even easier to remove. Also the same way you remove melted crayons or plastic from a regular light bulb (yes my kids did that when they were little, little shits). Just be careful, and don't cut your self. Good luck!
