I have an amazing pheno in flower and id love to keep it as a mom. Its about 1 week from being chopped. How should I go about cloning it if its even possible? What are some tricks?

You cut it at a 45 degree angle like any other clone. The only real difference is that flowering clones take a little while longer to shift into veg. mode and take off. Just be patient with them keep them warm and you should see them root in about 10 to 14 days. They are really hormonal when flowering but time will level them out.

sometimes its not possible if it had been in flower way to long and has no more active shoots to clone

Should be the same as any other time, try and get the least budded offshoot from the very bottom. It will take longer but you'll have a bushier/branchier clone. Perfect time to try some LST!

i like the idea but i dont like that you have to wait an additional month or longer to throw backinto the flowering. i have reveg a plant before it omg it takes forever :D but its cool to not have to worry about a mom..
