How Do Bottom of Rapid Rooters Stay Humid?

I'll likely just put them in small pots and throw them in the mother room... keep some of them as moms and find the rest a home. I'll be taking more in about 6 weeks for the next cycle - hopefully I will have enough to support my whole room. I will likely be momming 5 ladies and will need about 70-80 cuts so I think I should be okay.

I run about 70 plants under 3.6K watts and have done best with Sour Diesel (grows very similar to Widow) and yielded 1.1 lbs per 1000K. That said, I got bored of SD and switched to several indica strains with varying degrees of success.

I'll post some pictures of the current cycle soon

Niceeee. SD is actually the next strain im producing my last strain was purp haze from a Onion that i bought. it had 8 seeds and 3 fems. i didn't pollinate so i ordered from dopeseeds.com hazexskunk & SD

well i took that into consideration and ordered the automatic sour diesel. max height is 20-24 inches. which is perfect.

Just took a bunch more today... they are kinda falling on each other more so than the last time which is weird because they came off more developed plants. They will stand up a little straighter soon I'm sure.

I am using a heating pad and thermostat, do you guys put the temperature gage below the tray or place it in an empty block of the tray? Does it make a huge difference? I have my therm set to 80 on both of them.

Thanks!

Sorry if I seem like a retard, but you don't put a rapid rooter in the empty slot right? The little temp thing just hangs in the place of where it would be, yeah?

I see roots on one of the older batch! I picked up a few others, didn't see any roots but at least one is starting up.

Do I have to get these outta the Rapid Rooters within a few days I'm guessing? I was thinking the roots on the others would start coming in the next two days. Unreal, these rooted in 12 days... first try!!! Very happy.

So should I expect the others to root soon? I need to spray three times a day now that they have a room system? How much time do I have before I have to get them into a medium?

Just spotted roots on several others in the batch, it appears like alot of them still don't have roots though.

Should I be spraying several times a day now? I was spraying every other day or so....

once a day is normally fine but if it gets dry, hit it again. couldn't imagine it getting dry that fast.

Right now about 60% of them have roots, and 40% don't. A friend is going to take them off my hands tomorrow. I spotted a few that had dry bottoms and I'm not sure how to keep those moist enough for them. I'm guessing if the roots dry out it's likely they won't come back.

I tried spraying into the spray from below, I think that would get the bottoms of the rooters moist, right?

Yea, Putting the cube in a cube.

Here is a shot of what I got going on now.

At this point I water the rock wool and let the moisture transfer to the rooter.
They are on a removable rack that I dunk in a tub of water or nutes. Well not dunk.
Dip in just about a inch up, hold for a few seconds and we are good to go for a few days.

Oh, The empty one is where the thermometer probe goes. Now you got a better idea.

Looks like a disco nightmare in there cruzer!!!!!
