How bad was/is bootcamp

Hey guys im thinking about joining the air force I took a few online ASVAB tests and I made a few scores between 73 and 85 so u think I'll qualify for a Logistics Plans Specialist job but im worried about how bad it is in boot camp

I'd like to hear your stories and how bad bootcamp is, ik a few of you served and some are planning on joining (although sunni is joining the Canadian military)

Im definitely going to try joining the USAF

No apparently my scores are good I mean I can't do intelligence but other then that I can do a lot apparently and I want to be a Logistics Plans Specialist or something involving planning

Might be different for other branches idk

And yeah I'd join the army if I wanted to jerk off into a hesco being a grunt

Air force is WAY more lenient and cares about you alot more

I really want to join the most hardcore suicidal shit after my four years though so I can let fate choose if I should live or die


And yeah im getting back in shape im running with a 30 pound ALICE pack for 15 minutes at 5mph but I want to be able to run an hour with it on before I even go to a chair force recruiter

73-85 are actually good scores. That will get you into just about anything in the AF. Air force has lengthened their boot camp. Army actually let you come home during boot camp for Christmas. Lol.

Join any branch, just select a job that's going to get you paid when you get out.

It has been 15 years since I went through AF basic. If it is the same you will sleep about 4 hours a night. You will run from daylight to dark. They will drive Attention To Detail in your head.

It all depends on how much of a bitch you are on the inside. I went in, in shape and able to handle a gun, got my sharpshooter (rifle only) wings no problem, and I was already homeless... so I had the mentality that the corps were the only thing I had, boot camp was difficult but really no problem for me I kinda like the punishment though....I saw big in shape guys quit, and I saw little doofy lookin guys nut up and become marines...Air Force will def focus more on the mental...and frankly Ty, the way you post you would be better off in a different branch unless you just want to be an airmen your whole career. You would even be better off in anything else even the Navy.
