It's a ten percent solution of whole milk in water. It changes the pH of the leaf surface and stops pm from proliferating. I have used it very successfully on zucchini squash and cucumbers. I haven't used it on cannabis. I spray my cannabis weekly with Regalia which can be used well into flower.

I tried milk about 5 years ago, but it didn't work for me. Then some commercial growers turned me on to Zerotol, which can be used up to the moment of harvest, being mostly hydrogen peroxide, and I have even washed freshly harvested buds in it. I found that milk also left a residue.

These plants I have must have very sturdy genetics. My San marzano tomatoes very obviously do not, as they are being consumed by septoria so quickly, nearly a third of all three are affected now. Conversely the weed looks perfect. From the looks of that, I'd say at least a couple more weeks. Lots of clear trichs still, but it really comes down to how long you can and want to wait. The longer you wait the more weight you'll get but you don't want to lose it all to nature.

Yes, it was a branch my short ass could reach, lol... where is the best place to sample from?? I feel bad to clip a part of one of my beautiful big ones at the top..

Plants usually ripen from the top down, but not always. Try to check the top colas of the branches that are sagging down for trichomes. Don't feel bad and enjoy the fruit of your labor.
Weather and plant health are commonly the main factors when growing outside that cause you to harvest. Good luck on your grow!

That’s bud rot. Keep a close eye on your plants. It can get out of control fast. Spray the rot with H202, cut it out then spray the spot you cut again. You’re getting very close…ride it as long as you can but if the rot starts to take over, I’d start harvesting. Start with the larger tops first then move on to the lowers while allowing them to mature a bit more.

Yup. I agree.

I dried that sample from Monday and smoked it just now. It's incredibly potent. I would not be upset to harvest now. It's somewhat bad timing, and I hope I can keep it going until the weekend, my mother in law has decided that dropping by to stay in my house for a couple days is a thing.

Ha... haha... you know, I asked my husband if my cannabis is going to be an issue for her when she gets here. He said he has no idea and he hopes not.
No one from his side of the family has come to visit us since my husband left Maine, it's been 14 years, and she wouldn't be coming if her new boyfriend wasn't coming to visit his kid in St Cloud.

With luck she won't even recognize it and you can tell her it's a Minnesota ambrosia bush.

I moved here 27 years ago. My parents visited once then cancelled their next trip and never rescheduled. Lifelong expats and global travelers, but Minnesota was a step too far! Maybe it was the church lutefisk dinner that made them shy away?
