does anyone here use horse manure. is it good for your plants. i was just wandering because i have three horses and i thought it would be a good idea to put their shit to good use. thanks in advance for any replies

Horse manure is awesome. It must be composted. But it is great for mulch and a light fertilizer.

Do you worm your horses or give them medicinal injections? If so, personally, I would not want to use their shit on something I would eat or smoke. I have two horses (minis) that I don't worm because I can control
their food source. I use their manure in my raised garden vegetable beds,(tomatoes, peppers, etc) I wouldn't use it if they got the injections and medicines most horses get nowadays. Just my opinion.
