312.jpgRunning 12/12fs in roots coco palms. Some in 1gal pots some in 3gal smart pots. Fed everytime using Dyna gro grow and protekt, one time i put in a little moon dust because they were looking yellow and needing some N. Slowly increasing up to about 1000ppm. The last two times i also put in 5ml of flora bloom w/ 5ml dyna grow and 5ml tekt at 5.6-6.0. They are 35 days from seed. under 400HPS. Some of them are starting to curl up and some are starting to claw. No burnt tips. Thinking i either have PH issue or Calmag issue.

the last pic w/ the little bit of yellowing in the middle of the leave is actually a different plant from the other pics. It looks healthy besides that little yellowing. The other pics are all the same plant and it is about the worst of the group
 
Do the pot looks small slightly stretched I would top at 5 or 6 set of leaves
I don't know your nutes or coco my best advice is switch to dirt~
 
You said that you feed every time you water. In times like these, when you aren't really sure what the hell is going on with your plants... A good thing to do is to flush them real good with straight water. Then give them a light, regular diet, feeding the next day after the flush (after the medium has dried out a bit).

I'm just taking a guess here as I haven't grown in coco before, but I'm pretty sure that it probably dries up pretty quickly. So maybe the problem is related to the coco medium drying up every night then being fed everyday. Causing the nutrients to build up in the medium which would make it become acidic and overfed. That might explain the "nitrogen claw" and the yellowing (which is probably caused by ph lockout). Flush them and see if it helps.
 
It's neither actually it's cold temperatures and it looks like you got a lil splash of nutes on that bottom leaf.
 
Nice investigation work. It did get down to 61 a couple nights but the plants furthest from ac actually looked worse so I wasn't sure. I have dialed ac back to 70 at night and around 75 day. I think I will feed light and see how they work out

Will not be switching to dirt. The pots are fairly small but they are not bound yet. They have been showing flowers for a week or more not topping that far in.

Yes I feed every time I water but it's between 2-4 days. I may do a flush if they continue to get worse. I changed the temp couple days ago we will see if they just got damaged in that low temp time.
 
Guys!! No mention of PH??!! Ph issue resulting in lockout. Let's check the run off!! Just as important as ppm, especially in coco. I suspect that it's out of range slightly, maybe on the low side. Also do a ppm check of run off which will indicate a lot.

Thanks. What should ppm and ph runoff be in coco? No one ive read about checks runoff in coco. I would think if anything I might be on the high side most of the time my water was about 6.0 going in. I flushed a couple a minute ago and one was 900ppm 6.0 the other was 1500 and the water came out yellowish so I was unable to ph it. Most have roots coco palms w/o perlite but the first one I listed is botanicare and perlite. I didn't preflush the roots. Starting to think I should of. When I just looked at them the middle bigger leaves(4th or 5th node)are starting to turn yellow around the edges. To fix ph do I just flush?
 
Well I figure flush wouldn't hurt since 18of20 were in the roots coco which came back 1500ppm I flushed everyone down to 300-450 w/ tap water ph is like 8 out of the tap I will water w/ about 800ppm tomorrow
 
Firstly, I would ph yellow water run off. Also, if ur water is quite thick are u watering with run off ? 5 weeks of veg should be abt 800-1000ppm.

I'm running drain to waste. I'm pretty sure the roots coco wasn't clean it's was all over 1100 most close to 1500 the ones I did last night look better today leaves stretching for light no more wrinkled leaves hopefully no more yellowing towards the bottom. Appreciate the help. One other question for coco users how much runoff should I be getting when feeding?

You aren't PHing your tap water down from 8? You should definitely be adjusting that even for a flush. I installed an RO filter before my first coco grow. I would add 5 mg of calmag, 7 mg of micro and 15 mg of bloom per gallon of water and the PH always came out around 5.8. After awhile I stopped bothering to PH. You should flush with 1/4 strength nutes every month or so in coco. With 8 PH tap, you may not need to add any calmag but you really do need PH down.
 
Looks to me like feeding way too much. Laha's right that you flush and your run off will be at low ph…equals high ppm count stored in root zone.

I ph it when I give them nutes but didn't for my flush. I fed too much which caused all the issues I had. After the flush everyone looked much happier everyone has flowers now. I'm running 12/12 from seed. My opinion r/o waste of money you take out cal/mag then buy nutrients to add it back. Every 3rd water I am going to start running just hygrozyme for my flush, may consider 1/4 strength nutes if it looks like I need then. Appreciate everyone's help
