Yes Sir, won't let it happen again! And tImEwArP...I was just talking about RIU-Con 2011 and must've posted a split second before you! I have HempCon 2011 on Saturday down here in LA, I dunno if I wanna go though, I'm just looking for beans, they sell seeds at those things? It says you don't need to be a patient to entry, and it costs like 20 bucks...I checked out the DeepGreenFest, Vapor lounge looks tight, I don't think they have anything like that at HempCon

i know bro, i had to go back and "edit" my post so i could reply to your comment.

the hemp cons i've been to (and i've been to about 3 of them), all have 215 sections where they have pot, edibles, and sometimes an outdoor smoking area. and in at least 2 of the 3, they had seeds as well. the only 5 seeds i have are from the last hemp con in san jose : sage og, 5 for $20 after haggling ;)

i have to say, the DeepGreenFest sounds pretty sweet, compared to the hemp cons i've been to.

So they do have seeds, like a good selection? It's saturday, and I have the option of taking Saturday off work if I like, and I MIGHT get paid tomorrow, fuck, even if I don't I have money I can pull outta my ass...Was it just like one or 2 booths with seeds or did they something worth checking out? I dunno, I wish I had someone to go with, my girl works Saturday...

not sure man, it might be hit or miss type deal. i remember (vaguely) that there were two different booths with seeds at the last one (hemp con in sj). each of them had a good variety of seeds available, like maybe 10-15 different strains. not super cheap, but you have the benefit of getting them right then and there, no shipping, no online forms. to be honest, i like to go to these things mostly for the free edibles they tend to give away (either totally free, or you have to sign up to be a member of a collective, which is free). but if you're *just* going for seeds, then you might find it or might not depending on which vendors show up. if you get stoned enough, it's a fun time regardless :)

Hmm, I think I might have to get in on that action too, June 25-26? I'll see what I can do to make arrangements to be in the bay area around that time, I've been wanting to go camping with my lady for a long time, maybe China Beach is calling...Sucks you have to independently visit the dispensaries if you wanna try their entry, and you can't even vote, also the price tag is a bit high, but then again, so am I!!

you should come for sure bro!! yeah the price is a little steep, but probably will pay for itself in free edibles :) . maybe they'll be selling 1-day passes later on or on site. june is looking promising fellas!

p.s. just checked, $40 day pass at the door. might as well get the 2-day pass online for $50. force myself to go twice :)

Naw, I'd sport the 100 bucks for the 2 day pass with entry to the off location party, sounds like my kinda party! I'm gonna seriously see if I can start putting some money aside for it, cause it seems like fun and what better place to click up with the homies from RIU

There's a 420 friendly area for "patients" to smoke/vape/medicate, but I don't think you need a card to attend, it's 18+ and thats the only restriction I saw

yeah, having been to several of these, it goes something like this... without a card, you have access to the main area, you can visit the booths, basically like a huge expo of headshops and grow products and whatnot... there's lectures (for example ed rosenthal), and they usually set up a few "medical" tents where you can get a brief "exam" and get a med card on the spot (for around $60) if you want. if you *do* have a rec (or get one there), then you have access to the 215 area where all the good stuff is at, dispensaries, some seed sellers, edible samples, etc etc, and from there you can step outside into an enclosed area where you can "medicate", and then it's all a haze from that point on ;)
