I ordered some at $10 for 10ml it's worth a try. I'll give a taste review and if the liquifier can dillut enough to push through .45 filter and still be a potent ratio.

As far as the solvent, you could continue to pre-process your rosin as you normally do. The point of the solvent addition is to allow everything to pass through the filters easier, both the "bulk" and polishing filters.
Then you can allow it to evaporate off at room temp in a large, low pan, like a petri dish. Just make sure there is sire directed to the outside.
So there shouldn't be any disruption of the flavors as nothing is heated above their vaporizing temperatures.

I am not a fan of the terpene market secrecy myself.
It just makes me thing two things:

01. This is actually bad shit and they are just trying to sell as much as possible until people get sick.

02. It's made from a really common and cheap ingredient and they don't dare let us know this otherwise we will bitch because then will know they are gouging us.

It's probably #2.
Greed is a hell of a drug.

If the dilutant has no smell, then it isn't made of terpenes.

I am honestly surprised you were able to get a ratio of 0.75:1 through a 0.22 filter.
If you don't mind me asking a few questions I am curious how you were able to do this without multiple filter changes or ruptures.

By any chance do the filters have PTFE membranes?

Did you pull back on the syringe plunger a few times during the filtering to check for back pressure?

Were you able to do this using one or multiple filters?

Did you look at the oil before and after under a microscope to see what was actually removed?

As I said to @booms111, I am not trying to judge, I am just curious and want to help where I can.
I owe you a beer, good brother! Never thought of processing the rosin dab with alcohol. I was so stuck in the mode of using lots of alcohol to strip the buds (which i had experience with), but with 3.7g of rosin i only had to mix a couple tablespoons of 200 proof ethanol. I then froze that blend, filtered through the 0.22 syringe filter, and impatiently cooked off the remains at around 150f for several hours. Surprisingly the natural smells of the plant were still very much intact in the resulting oil. I finally saw the filtered waxy gunk being caught by the filter. Had to pull back several times to unclog it. The end product is fantastic! I didn't even cut it with anything, just loaded it warm right into the cart. Requires a preheat when cold or you can't draw, but otherwise hits greats to start then starts clogging halfway through. I figure it's time to dilute a little, but now it can actually be small percentage. I'll also run a batch and let it air evaporate. This batch turned out dark amber and I wonder if it was the hours of heat.

To answer your previous questions, i never got that 0.75:1 liquidizer mix though a 0.22, and the 0.45 was a struggle at that. I had to keep heating the syringe and filter in a water bath. Probably just stretching the filter holes with the heat and pressure i was applying. Even after all that, thinking it was clear, lots of waxes fell out in the following days.

Thank you again, you've been a supreme help.

Did another test run last night with .6 gram rosin mixed with .2ml TT viscosity. Ran through the .45 filter and the potency is pretty good. Not sure what this viscosity is made from but it so far the best liquidizer by alot for me.

damn I cannot keep these things on the shelves. Raw distillate, and a touch of MCT/liquidizer and terpenes is the way to go. these carts are fantastic, have no harshness whatsoever, and stay yellow/clear the whole way down. I really must urge ya'll to check out this way.
I think I'll be moving that way this year. I haven't vaped any of my juice for a month or so. The more I thought about what is in that stuff, the more it turned me off. What's the learning curve like for making distillate?

After using the rosin:viscosity at 3:1 ratio I think 2:1(rosin:viscosity) is the sweet spot. The 2:1 gave better hits every time until it was all gone down past the ceramic intake holes of the cart where the 3:1 after few hits must clog the ceramic holes a touch and creates a slight burnt taste.

So my method is heat oven to 200f. Put rosin and viscosity in glass mixing container with lid on. Cook until bubbles are gone(about 15 minutes). Then I draw the mix back into the syringe I use to measure liquifier and put it back into mixing container and cook another 5 minutes or until bubbles gone, this step is to make sure it's fully mixed. Then I draw it into a 10ml syringe and then push it through a .45 filter. Then I heat it again for few minutes to get rid of bubbles. Then I inject into cartridge.

If anybody's got any recommendations to improve method I'm all ears and willing to try more experimenting since I can make rosin whenever. Going to make some 2:1 mix later to see if it can push through .22 filter.

Do you have access to food grade ethanol? You only need a little bit to dissolve a rosin pressing. Then you can throw that mix in the freezer overnight, then run it through a 0.22um filter. After the alcohol evaporates you'll be left with wax free concentrate that you should only need <5% of your thinner instead of 50%. I've been running with this method at the suggestion of @Chris Edward and it's been working like a charm! I add around 2% terpenes to get some flavor back, and around 2% thinner for nice smooth product.

After it freezes what are you working with? Is it a jar with all the fats and waxes fallen out sitting on the bottom and you siphon the liquid concentrate mix off the top?

You could do that, but I'm not working with much material so i swish it all up then press though the filter. You'll have to pull back a few times as it gets clogged with waxes. I think the main thing is the waxes stay globbed up when the solution is cold.

Where would you recommend getting some ethanol from? I've looked at as few sites but haven't bought any yet?

I dont work for them but I have nothing but good things to say about them and recommend them all the time. One of the owners usually answers the phone. You can get 200 proof which is real nice. You can order quarts to barrels.Cheaper in bulk, which I'm guessing you dont need.

Thanks! Unfortunately they don't ship to my location without filing state paper work.

U could use .5 ml x gr with my lil yellow bus dab liquidizer and it would be a super potent mix
I received my 10ml other day. Passed my initial test of zero smell. Made a test cart with it at .6g rosin with .3ml liquifier. Works great and ran through .45 filter no issue. It's pretty much just like True Terpenes viscosity product in the way it works but at 10th of price!
