dude, they look very very NICE! Fat and dense and tight! V nice grow. Amazing for 42 days. Great job! :blsmoke:

Is that coco your growing in? I've been wanting to try that myself instead of soil. Or at least use some in my mix.

Ok first thing first, empty the mail bag!

on the bottle.
Err, I still dunno what you mean. Is it, You can see the benefit of ME using the stated dose of Big Bud, or you can see the benefit of YOU using the stated Big Bud... I think its the former, but could be the latter??

Natmoon, you are so right so I went and got some Rizlas... Now I have Rizlas & me, why didn't I think of that, bwahahahaahah :joint: btw, which cheese does it resemble, bear in mind I've hacked off a great deal of the bushy leaves almost every other day since week 2 or 3 i think.

They are not overly fat, but they are very dense. Today, since yesterday, they have swollen a lot. The calyxes are coming into an even more mature state. I'm addicted to removing calyxes and smoking them.. I mean I'm addicted to cheese... I mean... whatever!! I'm impressed with the bloom times I have gotten over the past 3 grows... I've been averaging 50 days. I think its because of this dual cool tube with 2 * 600w in it never more than 10" from the plant tops. Could be the well thought out air flow, their is a constant air exchange 24 hours a day which is balanced at 22C during the day and no less that 17C at night. My oscillating fan still hasn't oscillated since my last grow... I need a new fan! Since this one broke I've had stalks and stems that flex under the weight of the buds, but I don't seem to be reaping less.

I'm growing them in HG's special formula.. what else can I call it.... They started in B'Cuzz Special Mix and Plagron in 1L pots; B'Cuzz comes in a gold bag with no name on it besides Special Mix printed down the side of the bag... Then at repotting they went into Canna Professional + Coco... So I guess it's a B'Cuzz, Plagron, & Coco Mix.

B'cuzz is a bit cheap!! It has a lot of lumpy bits in it and stuff which made me ask the shop keeper if he made himself... needless to say he burst out laughing and said his company has no time or space to process grow mediums and bag them up. Plagron is quality!! Rich, dark and fluffy, but not too good on its own as I've witnessed it contract from the sides of the pots far too much under dry conditions. Coco? Well its often classed as a hydro grow medium as it isn't exactly soil. A good 3 way mix of the above is pretty good and is neutral in nutrient content so it give me a lot of control over feeding.

So there you have it. Hope this thread helps highlight my mistakes if you ever decide to grow the cheddar cheese :blsmoke:

Day 44 / 47

pH'd water. removed a joints worth of calyxes and rubbed a rizla on a couple of buds to make it sticky with mashed up trichomes... Very very smooth even though they aren't completely ready for smoking. In fact I'm surprised at how good these wet calyces fresh of the plants smoke. I may chop of a proppa nugg in the middle of the week so when I'm doing the final trimming at the end of the week I can grin at the greatness of my works lol.

I might as well make this post a long one... please don't quote it in its entirety and have it repeated through the thread (pccdrom especially as I see you like to quote)

Now for todays pix...

Next photo shoot will be during the harvest festival, I can smell that day already!!!

Well even though its bb cheese looks exactly like the original to me.
You will have to let us know how it smokes as i have that strain on my list but others have said that its nowhere near as good as the real cheese.
Seems to look pretty good to me so let me know how you like it.
Flavour,high etc.
Looks good to me,i would smoke it all:mrgreen::peace::joint:

I dunno if its bb, I don't know how to distinguish. My supplier assures me that are the authentic cheddar.

I can more or less answer some of that now Natmooon. These plants are from 4 cheese clones I bought late last year. Out of the 4, 1 died so i ended up with 3. Before the 3 went in to bloom I took 2 cutz from each of the lowest branches. These are the 6 about to finish. Their parents went down a treat when they were done after 53 days I think. If I recall correctly it was the perfect Indica/Sativa blend.. or at least after a month smoking it it felt that way. It tasted exactly how it smelt... cheesey, rich, kind of sweet, errr I can't really describe it beside very flavoursome and very moreish. Even when I was totally wasted and unable to lift my arms to grab a skin, I still wanted to roll another, and I did! Difficult to resist, just as difficult to finish a joint at that point.... Everyday I was high after the first toke, this sensation just got more and more as the day went on, of course I was forever rolling. The high has no ceiling... trust me I looked for it... you just get higher and higher without a saturation point. Sometimes I didn't say a lot, not because I didn't have much to say, but because the stonedness disabled me from time to time from talking. Often when I did speak, shyt came out lol.. It was great stuff, I'm looking forward to becoming a retard of this stuff lmao.

To add, I've driven pissed before and mounted the pavement because that was the level I was at.. Driving fully charged on cheese has the same effect!!

HG, nice man. I've just read through your entire grow. Can't believe I missed it before to be honest. Loads of really great info about your feeding etc. Very helpful! Thanks for sharing :blsmoke:

Cheers for the info on the soil. I was thinking of mixing some coco in with my soil too, so I'll have to pick up a bag of coco and try it out on my next batch as I pot them up. I also use canna professional soil as well and love it. I tried a cheaper multi purpose one time and the quality is just not the same, so I dug a bit deeper in my wallet and went back to canna. I will get their coco as well.

mxpxsunkist, by day 12 I had good pistil development 12-30-2007... by day 20 I had good resin production... proper calyx development occurred after 28 days and gradually increased to what they are today

A lot of people missed it lol, you weren't alone! I look at some of these journals with 250,000 views and I'm like WTF.. what's everyone looking at lmao... Maybe on my next journal, commencing soon, i might get a few more followers bwahahahaha... It's not just this website where I'm getting less hits, it's ICMag too. Though I did get some very good feed back when my plants were sick, they provided quick diagnosis and assisted me on my way. Well, most people helped.. others remembered me from cann dot com and thought they'd try and be a smart ass & cannabis dot com? oh deary me, what can I say can a say about that sess pool of inbreeds mwahahaha, I better stop!!... They could have learned something if they didn't ban me 5 times, like I give a shyt...

Geee, I don't know what came over me just then... must be another side effect of smoking them wet cheese calyxes and mashed trichomes lol... I'm so high... Good job I've attended the veg room already to sort out the others, otherwise I dunno what I'd be doing in there with the current psychological state I recently acquired...

That canna stuff is good... I personally wouldn't use anything outside of the 3 brands I mentioned.. It's taken many many grows to distinguish the difference between grow mediums that I've had access to and it's plain to see what gives the best stable performance after many tests.

I think I'm goin to roll another and see what effect it has

Thanks for sharing a comment 100% THC

Day 46 / 49 - Yesterday I flushed them again with some pH'd water. I removed a few more yellowing leaves to aid late light penetration. They look orite I guess.

Day 47 / 50 - Today. The day before the last. I've decided to take some pix this evening instead of wasting valuable trimming time tomorrow. There are quite a few images, hope everyone likes them.

Plant Number 1 from Mother Number 1 ( have pix from the bloom of the mothers if any one wants to browse )

Plant Number 2 from Mother Number 2

The other Plant Number 1 from Mother Number 1

The other Plant Number 2 from Mother Number 2

Plant Number 3 from Mother Number 3

The other Plant Number 3 from Mother Number 3

Tomorrow I will chop em and make way for the hydro grow that never was but is going to become. I'll be up and running with a fresh set of cheese on hydro in a week, with one or two special guests being tested for their worth along side in pots.

heavy wieght buds.
nice pics. plant 3 from mother 3 is my favourite.
Number 3 is my fav also. The number 3s are a better pheno as they have more bud on overall. All cuttings were taken from the lowest set of branches from the mothers, so it isn't a bias as in the sense I took them from the tops of the mothers.. They all started like the same more or less... I can't remember which rooted quickest.. May well have been number 3 leading all along...

I think my camera flash is too much for pics in here.. The quality of the bud pics is a bit not very good.. The pix don't do the buds any justice really. Can't wait to chop em and see what all the effort has been about...

See if you can spot your 1, 2 and 3 in comparison to what you see here...
