High quality product from older material?

A friend of mine seldom use cannabis but is almost addicted to grow. He is about to move in with his new girlfriend and offers me his harvest at a most reasonable price. No trims, buds only. Problem is that it has been stored for almost 1.5 years.

It has been stored in mylarbags at a temperature of about 60-65 F. I did a BHO extraction of a sample and it came out darker than normally.

Is it still possible to get a high quality product from this material? .

Even properly stored material will produce a darker extract.

it should be, those are good temps, and if the bags were sealed, there should have been little transpiration.
