Hi I'm AJ. I'm a downloading addict. :joint:

[You guys say, "Hi AJ" in a monotone way.]

I've been a downloading addict since I discovered Kazaa when I was 10. I know I'm a downloading addict just cause of the plain fact that once one of my downloads is finished, I find something else to download. And once my 1TB hard drive fills up, I buy another one. I'm on my 10th one as of right now. :eyesmoke:

I download pretty much everything; music of all genres, games of every platform, movies of every country, ebooks/comics/manga, TV show seasons of all types, applications of all kinds, anime/cartoons, and porn of all categories. :blsmoke:

Is anyone here just like me? Or am I the only one? If you don't know, you can click this site and see if your are. bongsmilie

Lol! porn of all types, does that include kiddy porn? Haha jk no, I actually find you to be quite a fascinating psychological study.

Tell me, do you review all of your downloads, meaning, do you download and listen to the music and read all the ebooks or do you just simply download just TO download? And may I also ask, how the fuck did you possibly get through all of those viruses you've most likely procured in your compulsive undertakings?

I've so been there lol as soon as cable modems came out the addiction began. and then I recently received a letter from a lawyer (hired by universal & mgm) saying I could be sued for downloading the movie Valkyrie and Call Of Duty 4 then my addiction ended lol No more will I engage in illegal p2p sharing. F that.

I'd suggest you download shitload of steven halpern. transfer it to an mp3 player. turn off or unplug all electronics(except for your mp3 player) - play halpern on your mp3 player and meditate for at least 120 minutes a day(in as close to a lotus position as you can get). This will break you of your addiction, and more than likely after 120 minutes a day for about 5 months, you'll probably have alot of other things worked out too. After about 5 months add mushrooms into the mix. Get more relax music, something more natural and less synthesized than steven halpern, some drone music if possible. Trip out. Even the darkest tormented metalhead or thug would come out a shiny happy person after such conditioning. All your friends and family will begin to hate you because your spirits are everything theirs aren't(happy, and well, clean, and hopefully healthy) - so if you take this prescription, be ready for joy, but also be ready for the hate that comes along with it.

SRSLY - addiction is bad m'kay? Discipline is important. The best type of discipline in my opinion would be self discipline.

I believe These types of psychological conditions can be used to better humanity by using their addiction in a proactive way. These ppl can be used to assimilate info towards the cure for cancer and aids and help us find a pattern in all the confusion. Instead of letting nature defeat you, let it strengthen you!

loke : true.
Imagine if someone had an OCD for studying physics or spacetime, or just like you said, if someone was obssesed with healing and medicine. What you said is true.

This reminds me of when I was young. I used the original napster on a dial up connection. Haha it would take forever to download one song

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I would love to see the lawsuit amount for that "addiction" hahahaha.

Not to mention anyone with their so called "addictions" is just a weak fuck. Grow some sack and kick it. No one wants to hear about your stupid "ADDICTION" to porn, aerosol cans, or any other absolutely retarded mumbo jumbo, nor do I want to see some dumb ass intervention TV show because you're that much of a pussy ass retard.

Plenty of STRONG people have put their crack pipes in a sock after 3 years of abuse and smashed it and haven't ever returned for 18+ years. Seriously, stop seeking help and grow up. People are such weak minded fucks these days.

I /facepalm at humanity every 30 minutes now it seems. So thanks for your help at another one!

I do agree with Benassi. Any addiction can be kicked with self discipline. If someone cannot master self discipline, then, well, to put what he said lightly: I feel sorry for you. Everyone should have control over their own actions and behaviors. That is true freedom. If one cannot control their own actions, then they aren't free. If you ain't free, then its probably best not to fuck with me.

Actually I have the kazaa_1_beta2.exe file still saved with all the spyware it came with. It says date created, "Friday, October 20, 2000, 8:14:21 AM. IDK if your right about that! Try google or wiki to see when kazaa first started. I think it was you who discovered it in 2001 and me on 2000. :blsmoke:

Well I just virus scan it and then put it in the appropriate folder. And I simply download just to download. I kind of see it as a hobby! Where some people collect stamps, cards, weed strains, or ect. I collect data of all sorts. bongsmilie

Mine started with dial up but when I finally got cable.... That's when it all started to escalate! But I heard it'll cost companies a lot of money if they sue individual people. That's why most of them are suing for the programs and sites. :cuss:

I guess you can say that. But I like the word collecting more.

Never heard of him before. But I'm currently on it! I'll give it try when I get off probation. Thanks tho! I really like self help stuff!

HAHA Sure is!

And please note I don't take this addiction as a bad thing. It's just something to talk about on the talk board. I'm not going to seek help. I like my data collection hobby! I was just wondering if anyone here likes downloading a lot of shit too....

I download music, and sometimes games. That's about it.

Downloading "illegally" isn't really what LEOs are after, it's when you start SHARING what you've "illegally" downloaded that you get into trouble.

Important lesson: If you're downloading illegally, don't share your files on a p2p network.
