Laugh In was the best! Lilly Tomlin and my mother grew up together roaming the streets of Lincoln Park(Detroit). She is still a close friend of the families and still funny as shit! First thing that always happens when Mom and her get together is they hunch theirs backs and do the 'Camel Walk'....priceless.........

48, started when I was 14, been daily for most of that time, married 25 years, six figure+. It's all about keeping your shit together :)
Hey some shit stays together better than others. You've been lucky and I hope you know that. I've learned not to brag about much; everything's temporary. You haven't hit the big 50 yet and I hope you haven't jinxed yourself.

It's not a perfect life -- wife has had multiple strokes and heart surgeries, my shoulders and knees are wrecked, etc. I've been a (paper) millionaire, bankrupt when my startup crashed, and had my share of troubles. The point of this thread (I think) was to celebrate those that have made the journey thus far. Sure, I could get hit by a meteor tomorrow, but I've mostly found luck to be the intersection of preparation and opportunity, combined with the intestinal fortitude to throw the dice occasionally and see what happens.

If you spend your life expecting 'good luck' to sustain you, you're in for a bumpy ride. On the other hand, if you spend your life looking for things to blame on 'bad luck,' you probably will have no problem finding them.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I'm glad you're in a more mj friendly area now. I love Florida, but the laws are crazy and I know that once they ever get you in the system it is almost impossible to stay out of it. I know so many young guys that have screwed up their lives over silly shit.
yea florida is amazing to live straight chillen in nice weather getting great drugs but sorry to hear about ur legal troubles as well
