hermie

i am on my second grow i am growing 2 big bang and 4 magic bud . I think one of the big bang might have turned hermie. i only have one space to grow in. so my question is will i loose much bud to seed . and is it true if a seed is female then stressed to a hermie it will produce female only seeds and will this only happen to the hermie or will all other plants in room produce female seeds . i will try to get some pics later . i am hoping it is only a false alarm. but a lot of female seeds would be very handy for future grows.

Are you sure the plant didnt get knocked up. hermie plants can produce 3 different seeds so dont get set on a female seed making machine.

all the plants will produce either female and hermie prone seeds, but thats only because the one hermie will pollinate all the other plants.

so theres no chance of making all female seeds . it was definetly a female seed to start. it is three weeks into flowering i check it every day and only yesterday did i notice different growth my grow partner who is no more experienced than me thinks its just retarded growth......though the plant was exposed to a couple of minutes of light during there dark period the day before i noticed......lets hope hes right.............
i have read if the plant is stressed to hermie the plant crossed by itself will be all female.but if it pollinates the other plants will they be female as well

your right, all the seeds will either be female, or hermie...... and the female seeds will be more likely to turn hermie (they are now pre-disposed to the hermie factor).

I'm not sure how much bud you lose to seeds, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. if your grow is going start to finish, not perpetual, then just finish out the plants and better luck next time..... if your doing a perpetual, you need to start over (finish up the plants and start fresh, with new seeds)
