Heres my idea! STEALTH T5 HO fluroescent and productive??

Okay, so first take a look at these- 2 ft 8 lamp T5 HO fluorescent lights
High Tech Garden Supply
New Wave 192W 3000K 2FT-8 Lamp T5 Fluorescent Grow Light - Plantlighting Hydroponics
HTG- $185 with bulbs
New wave at plantlighting: 230 without 8 3000k bulbs so 270 after 4 cool bulbs, unless they will mix them but doesnt say.
New Wave High Output Fluorescent Plant Grow Light Fixtures by Sunlight Supply at Home Harvest Garden Supply 220, no bulbs 300-320 after
There are also 4 foot 8 lamp which would probably be best seeing as they get 25% more light. 40K lumens compared to 16K for 4ft vs 2 ft respectively. but, this is STEALTH.
So, the idea is Two 2ft 8 lamp T5 HO fluorescent light fixtures. 1 6500k/3000k mix and one just 6500k. Or both just 6500k? Or both just mix? what do guys think?

They could each be housed in the corner of a closet. I was thinking about trying a see of green, soil, quick flower method in a way to keep clones going but without the space requirements of a mother plant. I also want everything to be very easily concealed and if need be TRANSPORTABLE.

GROW "ROOM"
So, two 2X2X2 foot cubes made out of pvc.
Attach 16k lumen 2 ft 8 bulb fixture inside cube and affixed to so that it would form a "roof" of the cube. Use wire, or something...
Line 5 edges of the cubes with thick 5mL black/white reflective plastic for smell/light conservation. The lid will be on the side.
*Still need to figure how to make a air tight door/flap of plastic....
I don't figure that heat will be much of a problem however I would want to hook up a 25cm computer fan from new egg, hook it up to a thermostat, and have it turn on at a certain temperature range. It would be best if the fan was on top of the light because CO2 is denser than air and will sink to the bottom. I want to use a gallon milk jug to feed CO2 into the system with yeast. A small fan on the inside for circulation also. (could I do without the exhaust system as long as I have CO2??
Maybe just have 2 25cm fans all the time...?

GROW METHOD
Pure Afghan DNA Genetics from Dr. Chronic - 13 seeds 7-8 week flowering time
plant all seeds and grow for 2? 4? weeks under 24/7 light, cut clones and move plants to flowering box.(7-8 weeks later I have bud!) Plant clones in veg box and grow for 2 -4 weeks? continue cycle, They could even be on a slow cycle, one plant at a time :)

I'm not sure how long to grow the plant from seed to flowering point, or how tall if I wan't to fit the flowered plant in 2x2x2 foot box. Is that enough? So here are some questions:

How tall and or long should I veg the plants for from 1. seed (the first time)2. clone ( there on after)

Is a 2x2x2 box big enough for the flowered plants?

Will generic red plastic cups be big enough If i eventually want to fill the whole thing with as many clones as possible. like 36 red cups with a clone! Let them grow like 4 inches then move to flower! How tall would they get you think? And how much per plant? Even if yield was 3 grams per plant with 36 clones per 2x2x2 box that would be pretty sweet! What do you think the best plant/size ratiois best for productivity?

What I'm most lost is how long to let them veg from sprout to get a decent yield, I dont want to get like 0.2 g per plant... But 3 would be great if i had 36!

Do you think smell would be a problem??

Hope you like the idea and have input!

Welcome to the forum. You have done some research, congradulations. Now take a chill pill, sit down and fire one up. Look at some grow journals that have been posted by folks that started six months to a year ago, that look like about the same size at what you are considering. Generally, depending on the height you have to work with, the information about vegging time and flowering time is published by the seed seller. How long did they say you should veg and flower? VV

Everything VictorVIcious said (and says) - i would only add you may not want to plant ALL your seeds on the first grow - in fact you may want to start out with only a few plants and see how it goes.

Would 4 weeks be enough veg from clone to start a flower? What about 4 weeks from sprout? How long is the pre-vegetative "seedling" stage? They are DNA Pure Afghani
Thats pure afghani from DNA genetics- 7-8 week flower time. Basically, would 4 weeks from clone be enough to get each plant a bit of yield and still fit in a 2 foot box, So a foot of growing space after dirt and lights?

It would be hard to say but i dont see why a month of vegging for your clones would probably be too tall by the end of flowering so you would probably have to top or LST them so they will fit in there. Good Luck
