Here's a helpful trick for odor control

I've had trouble keeping the marijuana odor down to something reasonable. An ionizer, two carbon filters and ona failed miserably. I can spray the house down with freebreeze air freshener and it's good for 5 minutes, maybe 10, but then the marijuana odor starts coming back.

Out of desperation, I took two scented dryer sheets and stuck them to the fan, letting the fan suction hold them up, now my house smells like fresh laundry. It's good for that little extra kick when mom visits.

I hope somebody finds this useful.

All went well but I had to move my boxes cos I was still paranoid. Might have even screwed my flowering :( but still not in jail which is a good thing I guess :P

It shouldn't mess up your flowering just to have to move them. I move mine to the bathtub every 3 days or so to flood them and they're in flower. Unless you're in a worse State than Ohio, (Is there one?) you wouldn't go to jail for having a few plants. It's just a ticket and a fine and no court in Ohio.

Great idea bro! Im gonna try this out most definitely. cant hurt right? :)
It's really great when you're expecting company.

I've started using an ozone generator which makes dryer sheets, and even carbon filters unnecessary now. I'm currently working on a vent to vacate the ozone from the room, which can be a health hazard if breathed in too great of a concentration.

In the winter, I stick the dryer sheets in the heater vents, that helps alot also.

Wonderful idea...that would freshen up the whole house. Thanks.

I'm totally amazed at that ozone generator. I built an attachment to my attic access using a kitchen garbage can with the ozone generator inside it. I cut a hole in the side of the trash can for a 10 inch fan. It pulls the warmer air out of my grow room and there's something less than a zero chance of any marijuana odor getting out my attic vents. With that set up there's not actually any ozone in the grow room but still no odors getting out of the room.

i knew a friend who kept his nugz with dryer sheets and then the nugz smelled like the dryer sheets which was fine i guess. but the smoke was harsh and not tasty. i dont think having a fan with dryer sheets would do this but yea somthing to think about.

Definitely something to think about. Thanks for this bit of info. The dryer sheets will still be good for outside the grow room if I ever need them again.
