Here is my CFL grow.

This is my first time growing. And so far i am pleased with the way things are working out. They are 27 days old. And i just hook'd up the light timer and they were switched to 12/12 lighting lastnight at midnight. They are just some seeds that i found in a bag that i purchased. If these 2 turn out to be female i will be getting some clones off of a friend that grows AK-47, Afghani, and Norther Lights. I can get as many clones as i want so i might try one of each in the little grow room next time. I could probably do 4 at once in there with these lights but i dont know. We will see. I hope to see more CFL grows in this forum soon so we can exchange ideas without the HID ASSHOLES that jump in people's threads just to say something smart. Happy New Year everyone.

Thanks, seems kinda weird turning the lights off last night. They have not seen dark since they sprouted. I did start 4 more seeds today for the heck of it. Plus i talked to my friend about an hour ago and asked how the clones are doing and they said that i could get about 4 clones of each strain a month. Man i wish i had the room to flower twelve plants at a time. If i did try and grow as many as i can like in a sog. Just how many plants do you think i could fit in an area the size of 18inchX30inchX4foot tall?

Im a CFL user as well. My question is how does the SOG work i dont understand really. How does it train it do what it is spose to do, or maybe i just dont understand how it works. Need a step by step on SoG and how and why it works with pictures. =)

Also HUGE props to this SUB-Forum! and the DYU sub forum!

looks pretty good.. BUT BUT BUT

I have a slight concern about your new growth.. The new growth.. new fan leaves should always be LARGER than the previous set of leaves...

The top sets of leaves show signs of stunting and possible ph issues...

are you pH ing your water?

No i dont ph the water. I use natural spring water and i let it sit for a day or two with the lid off. These plants were topped on the 19th. I will check them in the morning when the lights come back on.

Wait a minute, Maybe it has not been that long ago when they were topped. I have my grow room closed up right now because of lights off but i will get more pics and check the date on the topping. I have it wrote down on the inside of the door. That is where i write down anything that has to do with the grow. I was planning on the users of this thread to let me know when they look like they are lacking on the nutrients because i am so color blind that i cant tell myself. I hate it.

Thanks, This is the stressful part. Waiting to see if i got male or female. And they are growing a lot during lights off. I got four more started from seeds that sprouted and are in plastic cups. I will be setting up my veg room real soon and am going to use about the same amount of cfls for them. I want to get it down to harvesting around every month. Eventually maybe every two weeks. I will be definitely posting more pics up every other day until the show sex, because i will probably need the helpful eyes on here to tell me what is what. I kick myself everyday for not starting this growing years ago. I just love it. Happy New Year Everyone.

Just an update on my plants. They are still not showing sign of sex yet. But they are still growing really good. I think this will be the 6th night of 12/12 lighting so hopefully by this Saturday i will be able to tell if they are male of female. I will post pics tomorrow.

I will post new pics of the plants in the morning when the lights come back on. I hope to be able to tell the sex soon. I hate this part. But i got more info on my clones today. I will be adding a couple AK47 plants to the room on Saturday. I will be adding about 8 more cfls also. I think that 4 plants will be about the most that i can fit in this small space. I don't want to over crowd them.

OK guys, I am the proud daddy of two girls. I am so happy. It is hard to see but in the next couple days when i can get a clear pic of the pistols i will post it. Man i am so glad.

Here is a few pics of the female parts. It is a little blurry but in person you can plainly see the sex. The 3rd pic is some of the home made hash that i got the other day. I cant believe the price has went up to 50$ a gram. But just 2 hits and you are blown away. I should have some better pics in a couple days so you can see the female pistals soon. I know they are hard to see in these pics but i think i can get some better ones soon. Thanks for all the support on here. Man i wish i could meet some of you cool people in person, most of you seem pretty descent. Keep up the good work people.
