This is the link my 2016 Indoor Sunshine Grow as posted in the ^ above pic
https://www.rollitup.org/t/2016-indoor-sunshine-grow.905692/

I will use this closet to start the auto-fem's for my indoor sunshine grow, so these girls now have a new home
P4090007.JPG

The gals are now in the bathroom grow room which is bigger and has better air ventilation...same lights/fan as previous closet grow-room
P4100011.JPG I added base containers for stability, as they are becoming top heavy, especially when dry....this is a nice problem to have

cheers

And what to do with this miss-fit ....it will never amount to much, just hate to dump her.

It's considerably behind her sisters, but what can one expect from a winter sunshine grow
P4090004.JPG

I move it into a dark room for 11 hours/day....from 7:30 PM to 6:30 AM (just enough to keep it in flower mode)

I have a homemade dry tent with a small bathroom fan, so I've been using it for the dark room, as it has great ventilation
P4100021.JPG

It has a fitted cover, but I also place a tarp over it to really black it out

The girls are hanging in there.....filled the base containers with glass marbles for extra weight, so the base is near a pound

and the sunshine gals....also added a base but a different style

They don't seem to be bulking up much, but what can one expect from 146 watts of CFL/LED bulbs
They are about 6 weeks into flowering...2 or 3 weeks more to go

I hear what you are saying....the LED bulbs are more expensive than CFL bulbs but still cheaper than a HID setup

I have a 600 watt HPS that gobbles electricity while creating heat, so more fans, more noise and more power consumed, but does work well.

I wonder if I had 600 watts of these LED bulbs if it would match or exceed the HPS

Weekly update.....they are getting so very close but yet I see almost no amber trichromes, hence another week to go

P5140018.JPG

They have shed most of their large fan leaves
P5140025.JPG

a few more leaves soon to shed
P5140023.JPG

this middle one is more dense than the others
P5140024.JPG

the winter indoor sunshine gal...still has that pale green look but has retained most of its leaves and is healthy....I'm guessing 4 weeks more on this one

On Monday, I started a flushing experiment with these 4 solo cup hempy's...they are dropping leaves like crazy, thus will harvest by next weekend

P5220014.JPG

The tall one is getting normal nutes, but will get the boiling water treatment at the end...almost all the leaves on the top went brown and crunchy
P5220010.JPG

this one will get normal nutes until harvest day
P5220011.JPG

This one is getting the Mountain Dew flush...a bit of a joke but the sugar will impact the plant, time will tell if the impact is good or not
P5220012.JPG

and this one is getting a traditional flush, about 2 litres of water (pH ~6.0) and no nutes/cal-mag
P5220013.JPG

and then of course the winter sunshine gals....progressing so slow but is filling out

It comes to an end....chopped 3 yesterday, and the last one today

The far left one was flushed with Mountain Dew, middle left was flushed with water, the middle right was full nutes until the end, and the far right was flushed with boiling water on Wednesday, and harvested today (Sunday)

and the sunshine gal is still sucking up the sun

they are in mason jars now, looking and smelling good, but still not ready to smoke

each plant harvested approx 17 grams, so got about 65 grams in total for the 4 plants.

not a big haul, but not bad considering these were grown with 165 watts of CFL & LED bulbs
P6050012.JPG

A little root porn for my buddy @WattSaver
P5290039.JPG

and the last one standing.....the winter sunshine gal
she's not doing much it seems, and the buds are still fluffy....my guess is under 10 grams when all said & done.

here we go nearly 2 months latter and the winter sunshine girl was harvested last week and is now in a jar.

this plant didn't do much in the last 2 months, but did okay as the weight was higher than her 4 sisters

the other four were about 17 grams each, this gal was 20 grams, so that's about double of what I expected

chop day (July 23)
P7230029.JPG

the cola on the right and the 2 small buds on black hangers
P7230031.JPG

there she is
P7300001.JPG

all in one jar....the jar is 405 grams, so the pot weight is 20 grams
P7300002.JPG

this was the longest grow I have ever done (over 6 months)...seeds germinated on Jan 19, 2016 and sprouted on Jan 22.
It spent a few weeks under CFL/LED bulbs but was punted out due to a lack of room, thus has been on sunshine since Feb 13.
Canadian winters are not so friendly, so I'm surprized it turned out as good as it did....it was likely the spring and summer sunshine that bulked it up.

anyhow, that's it for this thread....over & out

Cheers
Indoor Sunshine King
