Hempy buckets Help Plzzz

Hey everyone. So I planted my newly rooted clones into pots last week. I used 2.5 gallon, 3.5 gallon, and 5 gallon pots. I am growing hemoy buckets. if nobody knows what that is, it's when you dont have any drainage holes on the bottom of the pot, and instead make one hole on side of bucket about 2 inches up. The bottom 3 inches are filled with perlite only and act as the reservoir, and the rest of my medium is perlite and coco mix.

I potted them 6 days ago and watered with sensi coco a and b ph perfect, hygrozyme, voodoo, and b-52. I went really light on dosage and did not charge my coco before potting.

Unfortunately I watered them wayyy to much instead of watering little by little until the roots got going. This has caused my medium to not dry out very much. It is still wet and has been a week since I potted them. I have foliar fed them with b-52 a few times but still soil is wet . I am not sure what to do to help dry them out quicker.

Would you guys recommend potting them back into smaller pots or will that kill them to do so?

Imo I would just leave them alone until they dry out. Its not going to hurt them. Just make sure they are completely dry when you go to water again.

I would just drill more holes like regular pots and finish growing them, then start your next grow with the new gained experince.

I was thinking same thing, But have you used hempy buckets before. Wasn't sure if that would be ideal with hempy buckets

Yeah thats what I was thinking of doing. only issue I had with this was the fact that its been a week and they still seem very wet. Dont you think they need some kind of food. Should I made just water them enough to just get the root ball wet? or just let it dry completely. the way it looks it might take them another 3-4 days to dry out

Imo if the substrate is still wet, there is nutes left in it. I wouldnt worry too much about it, just let it dry. They will be fine for another 3-4 days for sure without more nutes, they are young still

no I haven't used them, but I'm considering using one for a test grow.
try drilling one bucket and see what happens, at least it will drain the excess water.

Yeah my buddies have seen good results. Just have to water them little at a time until roots develop but I made a mistake

I will try letting them dry out, if it takes to long maybe I will drill another hole and see what happens
