hey just wanna know are these guys ready for flush and harvest been over 8 weeks first time grower cheers

if you ain't checking your trichs for amber then you are potentially missing out on maturity/potency

big bonehead brainwashing movement against flushing/leaching but I do it...and always see growth spurt afterwards so to those that think flushing/leaching is unnecessary they can just get,"mad and sad", in the same britches

and are likely the same folks that feed additives late into flower on some idiotic schedule so they smoke a bunch a nitrates, (and who know what else) in their crappy tasting pot

I feed all the way to the chop. I simply reduce the amount I feed as time progressive. I farm and go to school to get a degree for botany. The idea of flushing only comes up in weed forums.

i grew up in a farming community, have to tell you, the farmers never flushed wheat, beets, corn, ANYTHING...because farmers know it's silly to even try. learn the basics of botany, and you'll learn that flushing can't do any of the things it's claimed to do.

What you 'can' do is put your plants in complete darkness for three days prior to harvest. That way there are no nutrients being held within the foliage at the time you vut and will make for a much better tasting and smoother smoke.

sorry man, that doesn't really work either. the plant is full of water (which is full of nutrients) all night. transpiration and photosynthesis only occur during the day, but nutrient laden water has been entering the plant all night.while that water isn't as effectively circulated at night, it still moves through the plant. the nutrients in the water have been getting used by the plant it's whole life, three days isn't going to do much to get rid of months of deposits. good healthy growth will use more of it up than anything else.

Oh, I'm just here to share my experience strength and hope. Thanks for the education. I've been doing the three day thing with success over the last 27 years. It's just my own personal recipe is all.

I'd bet people using additives late in flower do so because some uninformed idiot tells them it can be washed out with a flush. It can't.
