I usually read the plants leaves for feeding I could go one feeding two water depending on the colour... My past strains never gave me a hard time like this white widow from Canuck seeds

I don't have ec meter sadly
Flush? IDK. Others can chime in there.
A meter to test ppm's or e/c is a must to dial in your grow especially with the nutrients you are using. They usually go for $40, are easy to learn to use and last for a long time.
I don't use pro mix, if it is coco and perlite you are likely going to need to PH your water when you feed again IDK.
See what others say tomorrow before doing anything different.
Here is some info on the meter for testing the ppm's or e/c of your water.

It's soil indeed, pro-mix HP soiless. I use regular well water off my tap.
I've gotten bad bales of stuff similar to promix. Its peat based. Your supposed to bust the bale open and water. Let it sit for a while for the ph to stabilize.

I've went to adding a bit of lime to mine.

I would drop the bloom.

Water only for a couple waterings with good run off. Start back with the grow after that.

I used Sunshine #4 on my first grow a decade ago. The stuff had me pulling my hair out and I was running back and forth with plants for flushing in the tub. Stuff ended up coming out 4.6 out of the bag. I always test all soilless before planting now.

Using Pro Mix HP this time. I have tested both bales I got from 2 different locations and 2 different dates on the bale (nov 2016 and march 2017).

Both bales were sludge tested in RO water 0-1ppm.

5.3 @ 5min
5.6 @ 30 min
6.2 - 6.4 @ 120min

Seems to stabalize at around 6.3

I water in always at 5.5 or 5.6 and run off comes out at 6.2/6.3

As you said, yes you need to pre wet the stuff for a bit before using. When transplanting I will fill the pot to the level needed and water until i get a fair bit of run off and leave it for a few hours before doing transplant.

I've learned the same. Prebagged stuff can vary so much.

I make my own now. Have a compost pile and worm bin.

A silly go nowhere battle...
I'm giving answers on what I see.
ANSWERS.
You lot turn this shit into therapy.
Everone knows therapy takes time. The more time the bigger the problem as it will get harder to rectify.
If it is ph problem adding more nutes a slight amout will not kill your crop. As you said if the plant has a problem with ph and you know it's this then you will use the correct Ph.D. Water which will then flush away some of the extra nutes you put in anyway.
Plus if there is a ph problem the plant doesn't uptake nutes anyway.
So you won't be causing more problem would you.

Hopefully somebody who uses that can comment on your feeding. I don't use it and get the different Pro Mix HP's mixed up.
Do you have a tds meter? It is used to test the water, one measure is PPM's another is E/C.
Anyway again, I use RO so maybe White can help, he is rarely wrong, well except that time a few months ago when he thought a plant was under watered but that is a different story.
Another question:
How often do you feed nutes? Every time? Any water only between feedings? How many water only between feeding?
So what you chatting if you've never used it. You obviously don't grow.
You've been playing gta5 online and think a computerised crop is a real grow.
That's the only thing you grow.

Whitebb2727 saves my grow once again... Turns out my runoff was way too acidic. I flushed it ph'ed 7 water until my run off was at 6.0 Thanks! :-D:joint:
He knows his shit!
I haven't seen him post anything that I disagree with since I lost a debate to him about an under over watering situation months ago.
I was wondering if you read up on the tds meter and if you were planning on getting one.
I'm sure everyone here would agree that you should get one.
Happy Growing!

Im currently using microw grow bloow ph perfect and first thing i see wrong is he should be using all 3 parts equally through veg & bloom. Its a base and thats how AN made this 3 part. I do 3ML per quart in soil. Works great. In flower i use fox farms open sesame & beastie blooms ect with it. Been a great line for me so far

I ordered a cheap one on amazon. I'll know a bit more what's up when I test the runoff :bigjoint:

Be careful using run off ph as a reference for where your soil ph is.

It may be accurate and it may not. In this case it probably is. Different things in soil can cause different ph reading than what the soil actually is.

The most accurate way to test is a slurry test. Equal parts soil and deionized water and test the slurry.
