HELP! yellow leaves at the end of week 5 flowering

I agree with Alot, magnesium deficiency. 1/2tsp of epsoms salts per gal would do them wonders I bet.....

If I am not mistaken add a little molasses to your watering. That has some mag in it also. My girls loved it in the last weeks of flowering. About a teaspoon per gallon should do. I used it every other watering.

Any idea where i would get molasses from?

Just been reading and is molasses the same as what we call Treacle here in UK? its the dark gooey like substance in a red tin.

Save the molasses for making cookies. It may have a bit to offer your mediums beneficials but thats about it. Really does not have much to offer the plants. The usefulness of molasses is more myth than fact. Either use epsoms salts are get yourself some CalMag, MagiCal or the like...you will be much better off.....

Well im really starting to worry now. i am at week 6 in flowering now and the leaves are rapidly going yellow and brown and crispy at the ends. all the trichomes are still nice and white and the leaves around them are still nice and green. Seeing as this my 1st grow i have nothing to judge the yellowing on. im only watering twice a week and have stopped all nutes as advised. Do i just sit back now and wait or do i need to give them anything else?

Man, I suggested you get calmag like how many posts ago?

And it looks like a few others suggested the same since.

What's the point of asking for advice if you're just gonna ignore it and continue wondering why your leaves are still yellowing?

Well as a newbie at the moment i am being given so many different solutions on here and i have tried them all ie: epsom salts, Nitrogen, Calmag, Molassess am i just going to kill them with all these things?

Do the Cal/Mag or something similiar from garden store place,half strength....They will be fine...Water when dry,and water well,not too often,cuple inches dry under the top soil,give a drink..Stick to feed ..water...water..feed,put the Cal/Mag or similiar with next water,still keep off the N,,it aint that.No more NPK for now..
I know it gets baffling sometimes with all the info,and you only want to do the right thing.Your doing good,there looking good.

MJ are Mg whores. Buy the Cal/mag if you can. And if you can't, use the Epsom salts. The rate is 1tsp/gal water. Do it today. There are drug stores everywhere that sell it. It'll help.

Yeah thats what i have done today epsom salts. I will go and buy some calmag and give them on the next water. Thanks Buddha webb and dannyboy.

Just because the breeders cannot properly finish does not mean its natural. There is nothing natural about a MJ plant yellowing and losing leaves during any phase of flowering, start, mid way, finishing............green till the end.....and why just plain next week anyway? Wait I know, you still believe in flushing too.......

Errrrrrrrm! sorry folks have we not gone right of the subject here???

Im one of the less experienced growers you talk about,im just asking,dont get angry....so how long have you been growing,i guess your a master of breeding too,you sound very confident .The advice i gave was sound advice.Did you know that just because a plant goes under 12/12 doesnt mean its then in flower!It can take between 5 and 15 days ish,for the plant to redirect root to stem growth to stem to flower.So lets say they have been under 12/12 for 5 weeks,that would mean they had been flowering for 3 or 4 weeks tops,you said 5 i think.I believe i was probably about 5 days out on my guestimation.
But as an inexperienced grower you would expect this.Not meant to sound condescending.(belittling)
PS,Intelligent.................not inteligent............I would never call you an idiot for a spelling mistake......B.You were too busy condemning you forgot to advise Chuckles.You should help chuckles out,cos she needs real help..
