Im an old fart & cant tell shit from pics but going by your timeline i'd personally give them another 2 weeks till chop .

When i grew soil the 8 week rule was out the window , i judge by growth rate , color of pistils & new pistil & calyx production , not trichome color or week count , i grew in soil for decades & rarely hit the 8 week mark & when i did it was with clones taken from sexually mature mothers over 2 to 3 yrs old .

Learn to read the plants growth patterns, calyx & pistil production will slow down greatly when the plant is at its peak , if its still packing on new calyxs & new white pistils are popping up nice then let them go longer .

After seeing the full size plants I'd say 2-3 weeks and then post the pics again...don't be impatient...g/l

Just feed it plain water for the last couple weeks and let it utilize whatever nute's are in the soil. Let the plant flush the medium for you. When you flush you shock the hell out of it and will affect your end harvest. Also use a balanced feed , none of that pk shit for flowering. Yeah they don't need a ton of nitrogen but they still need it. Yellow leaves are non-productive leaves. I will quote UB on this one "think out of the RIU, I want to give my plant bloom nutes until the leaves turn into a non productive yellow, box. GH needs to take their bullshit claims and shove them up their drain and waste tube" Good Luck whichever way you go.

Flushing is a myth. Best to learn what's real and what's hype.

Question, is it the terpenes, oils, cannabanoids of a particular strain the reason why some are smooth and some harsh on the throat or is a harsh smoke caused by not flushing?

If you are concerned with a smooth smoke, may I recommend a pipe and pipe tobacco? Oh, and a bit of brandy would be nice too. ;)

thanks man:D its my first crack at this so im not too knowledgeable! i guess not flushing would make things a little easier, do you continue to use a flower booster & bloom in same quantities right to the end?
Why are you using "flower boosters"? Are you determined to ruin your plants and yields?

You need to question the misguided info so prevalent at RIU or at least be smart enough to question any "advice" you receive and ask for the science behind it....at least until you learn what makes a plant tick.

Bloom boosters do not increase yields, especially if cannabis specific. They actually decrease yields by inducing premature leaf yellowing and drop.

@Daggy Yep! 90 days from seed the packet said, but i had some problems in the start being too eager with potting up and nutes:roll: resilient little things pulled through in the end!

@GibbsIt89 i have a 'flush' from Hydrotops my local hydro store sold me, would that be the equivalent to 'final flush'? Have heard good thing about AN, got my bottles on the way for next time:lol:
flush solution is pretty general, dont think it matters who makes it or who u grab it from. they actually even sell flavoured versions of "final flush" but the guy at the hydro shop said previous customers that used the flavoured versions didnt notice a difference. Anyways, goodluck man!
