I would say "B". But why a walkin between the 2 room's. I would take that out and expand the veg room. Do you need that much of a buffer zone between the two room's?

i would say A. it gives you more access to your flowering plants. i hate when i can't get to the BIG ones in the back.

To me it would depend on lighting as there is an 8 sq ft difference between the Bloom rooms.

I'd go with the larger flower room if the available lighting was sufficient in intensity to cover the space adequately.

good luck

Well folks let me start off by saying I respect everyones observation. And let me address the 1 question that was asked or implied about lighting. I have 1 Hps 1000 watt light and 1 3.5 light mover rail ,and I have 1 2 foot flourescent 2 bulb grow light with agrosun bulbs in it. I planned on usng the flourescent I have for seedlings and the HPS for flowering . Now Ive been shopping around or for more flourescent lights for vegging and from what I`ve been able to find 4 foot lights are cheaper than 2 foot lights. I`m sure I could use compact flouro`s for vegging and I`m fairly confident comfortable about doing my on electrical wiring can anyone here tell me what bulbs and what brands to look for and what watts to get in the way of compact flourescents . I`m not even sure aout what kind of base (socket) to use either. I`d also like to put a couple shelves in the vegging area if I`m to go with room setup (A). This leads to a couple more questions . How should I put my shelves in. What heights should I have if I want to keep a couple of mother plants around in the vegging room. I was thinking of maybe a 3 tier 2 shelf or a 2 tier 1 shelf setup in the veg room . I plan on flowering 30 plants on a continuos rotation.

Thanks again everyone on the great observatins and info.

CFLs use the same base your regular house lights use, so no need for a different base. Just screw in and turn on. The biggest one I have been able to find at your regular department store, like Wal-Mart, is a 42w bulb and pushes 2800 lumens. Its made by GE and is about 5" long from head to toe. Cost like 5-7$. Use the ones rated at 6500k for your vegging area.

Oh, I would go for setup "A" also. Seems that it would give you room for play if your flowers start to go amazon on you.

If you plan on having 30 plants flowering then you only need to have 35 or 40 clones to supply it. Don't need a lot of room for that. Put the mothers on the floor, one shelf above for clones. Keep in mind while planning this, you will need some storage room for your supplies and equipment.
I would have said A. Since you only flower 12 hours the lights closest to the door would be on the least.

Well I went to the local Lowes and HomeDepot Hardware store along with a discount closeout store and found fullspectrum daylight bulbs that are compact flourescents the watts ranged from 42 ,60, 150 how many shold I have for the 2x3 shelf for my clones and how many should I have for the area under the clones for the mother plants, Im gona make to reflector like deals that are 2x3 that I can lower the lights up and down on . and I have thought of some where to store my supplies I hae a 1/2 bath right straight across from the closet oh and the door is light tight leading into the closet.
