Hello this is my first ever grow and the bottom leaves are starting to turn yellow/brown and I'm not sure exactly what is wrong or how to fix.

Fem cookies kush seeds, soil FFOF, fox farm grow big nutrients with liquid seaweed dosing amount off bottles, in 3x3 tent under a ge par 38 grow bulb for now all day until I transplant. Plant is 3 weeks today since I started germinating the seeds. I topped her a few days ago and growth slowed for a day or two then two new growths started. Using purified water ph of 6.8-7. Humidity between 50-65% and temps of 68-77 throughout a day. I don't water until solo cup is light usually every 2-3 days, every other day I mist the plants with water and liquid seaweed. Any help would be appreciated.

youre loving it to death. FFOF easily has enough nutrients for a month, back off the grow big and the misting. Id also consider transplanting very soon. light on 24/0 or 18/6?

I have the light on 24/0, Should I flush it out or just use water the next feed? Transplant should be this upcoming weekend. Thank you for your help.

im not much of an advocate of flushing, id go just water for the next 2 or 3 feedings
Thank you again for your help and I will give it water and transplant asap. Besides that does she look alright growth wise? First grow and I'm not sure if she's growing alright or if I topped to early.

Lockout/nute imbalance or underfed, Not terrible. Flush then give the some fresh food and you should be good to go.

Awesome thank you for the tips. To flush do I just use distilled water and slowly water over time until the run off is basically clear? and then by feed after flush do you mean directly after or wait until she dries up again a day or two after flush? I'll for sure be going under the standard dose for feeding after this yellow leaf scare haha. Besides the yellow I feel like she is growing fine and the top resulted in two new leading colas and new colos under fan leafs are growing well also, never grown before so any other tips on getting a healthy bushier plant would be appreciated, I have pipe cleaners for lst in the next few weeks when shes a little bigger and I have netting for scrog when she's about to start flowering.

So....

Since you’re in soil definitely time to step up pot size imo. The are too small, by third node or so my roots tend to fill up seedling pots about that size in coco and ime it’s easier/ok to grow bigger plants in smaller pots with hydro than soil.

repotting will make it much easier to deal with because you can actually just water the shit out of the media and sort of expedite the process(don’t do this unless you repot, good chance you overwater and possibly kill them). You can try putting the ffof in the pot without the plant first and water it to bring down the nutrient levels. When I was in soil I used ffof and it never really was an issue so you can just transplant and they’ll recover now that they’re a little bit established even with the full nutrient level of the soil.

Alternatively, you could also grab some coco and transplant into that, which is inert. So you feed from day one, every day, every watering and your plants constantly have balanced nutrients as long as you get some runoff to flush salt buildup. You can treat it exactly like soil if you want( but you should keep the coco saturated unlike soil. It’s almost impossible to overwater in coco anyway), , or you can get fancy and setup a res to feed on a drip system or other automated system. Granted, I would leave all that until you’ve gotten through a couple cycles.
