no my ballast is convertible it could be plugged into different sockets for the voltage so I had it plugged into the wrong one the other one I believe is for other countries. That is what the shop I got it from told me. This is all knew to me but Ill post up a picture in a second showing you how she looks now.

here she is bright as hell burns my eyes had to angle my cellphone up at it IMG_20130317_134204.jpg then here is what I got under it so far IMG_20130317_134227.jpg

These lights will run very hot right? because its giving off a massive amount of heat (shut the closet door and temp rose to 100) the closet is just a little bit bigger then the light.

I don't wanna burn my place down lol.

bump I opened the door leading into the room where the closet is located and the temp dropped to 93 -95 , I purchased a fan I think I might move everything into the attic because that light gives off a massive amount of heat for that closet.

why don't you hook up an extraction fan with a variable speed control device so you can control the heat? that looks like a vented hood you have, is there glass on it? its hard to see in the pic. otherwise I would seriously worry about burning them or the house down.
