I'd go to the manufacturer's web site, or give them a call.

the bulb itself is from a different component than that lamp ballast! :(
sucks! was hoping someone on here could walk me through wireing up a t5! :( because its basically the same thing just rounded!
thanks anyways

damn man i have a t5 but it just plugs in, but i am really curious about these circ cfl's. do you have a grow goin already?

Sorry mate that just won't work.
The blue lamp you have is for a low voltage halogen globe (12v 20w)
as for that circular flouro, that's a t8 type. The t5 circular flouros are 16mm diameter (or any t5 bulb for that matter)
and with t5's, you must use an electronic ballast specific for t5 bulbs.
older t8 ballasts could be used with t5 but will reduce the life of the t5 bulb.

Furthermore if you have no experience wiring ballasts, I would not attempt it. We don't want you frying yourself now.

Find someone who's an electrician to wire it up for you or you can actually buy the circular flouro lights for your house.
