Help! Stalk split!!!!

I've grown where the weight of the buds split the plant. This example is the top of a plant that was topped once and is 6 weeks in - split is in the center of the picture.

At this point I'm not worried about using a solution that will constrict growth or damage swelling branches so I used a zip tie

So my lower leaves are yellowing...I did give 1 tablespoon of Epsom salts for magnesium in a out 4to5 gal and it seems more stout but still "sad " looking but not terrible. There is also this (white edge) around one of the leaves and the top growth is stringy and long thin fingered leaves? I almost feel as if the ph could be too high. My water is 7.1ish and I think maybe a teaspoon of vinegar in a gallon may help a bit.

My durban poison plant is absolutely rocking and they've been eating the same stuff.

What I'm wondering is if maybe my big one is starting to need more nitrogen?

That's pretty crazy man! I've never seen that before. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to support these girls a little too when they flower like JJ said. These buds get heavy and dont wsnt to risk any more....bullshit lol

How is the plant doing after that? Great shot of the calyx growth inside tho. Pretty cool

I would wait and see what the Mag does to it before upping the N., if it is turning white, definitely a Mag deficiency.

So the bigger one is the issue clearly....this a few days after. It doesn't need water as the pot is still heavy and was watered yesterday. Does it look sick or am I over concerned here?

Also should I prune the really yellow leaves and the big ones?

I think its just stressed and probably should just monitor the soil and let it be but what are some things I can look for closely to avoid catastrophe here?

My problem with it is that it's always been super strong and the top leaves pointed upwards ALL the time and ever since the crack stalk its been....sad lol

Give her some support. Then she can focus more on healing the split and less on supporting everything up top. And like doublejj mentioned an all purpose fertilizer would do her some good right about now.

have you given her any more support?....put enough tape around the wound to seal air out?
I did not know to put tape around area to seal the crack....will do immediately. I didn't know if it was worse to put tape on it or leave it....I should seal it?

If she was my plant i would hit here with some general purpose fertilizer and epsom salts..
I'm going to try to figure something out for support. I cant trellise it right now but what else would you guys suggest....maybe some hemp twine around the outside of it to help act like a trellise or would that defeat the purpose?

Tonight she'll be thirsty for some water and ill give her another more stout shot of more Epsom salts like you suggested. I gave her another shot of fish fertilizer 2 days ago because she looks like she's getting more pale and this morning she looks a little stronger. Standing up a little taller and happier.

I also covered the crack with tape this morning which I thought the air would be better for it for some reason...stupid lol

What all purpose fertilizer would you recommend? And on a budget right now but have to do what I have to do here....

I use Maxsea but what ever you can afford. I'm not a big fan of fish fertilizer.

wrap something around that plant for support...piece of wire fence...anything
I have it tied down and it seems like it's very strong just the leaves are sad. This morning it looks a lot healthier.

I found a nice fertilizer that's still organic and made with all sorts of good stuff. Biothrive vegan plant food. The grow one not bloom. Its a 4 3 3.

Now a string tied around the plant on different levels would be good or bad. I have no access to a wire fence or anything....

Those branches are only going to get heavier as the season goes on. You need to find some support or most of those branches will be on the ground.

I will be looking into the support but I think my only option is some hemp twine.....(JJ....will the twine work wrapped around on itself or will it be a waste of energy).

I've learned my lesson this year with my tomatoes about support....sum bitch was over 7 feet tall and its leaned up against my fence right now with a dollar store trellise lol. Came home after a storm and it was all flopped over so I tied it up to the trellise and leaned it on a fence with my backyard Christmas lights lol

I tested my ph of my water and its about 7.2....little high I think. I added some apple cider vinegar and dropped the ph with 2 tbsp of Epsom salts I'm at 6.2....I think that should help. It does seem to be getting better and now but time will tell.
