Help! Problem getting worse! (Slight yellowing along veins and browning at tips)

Hey guys, please help on this one, I really dont want to lose my babies!

The problem starts looking like a tiny yellow spot on the tip of the leaf, the oldest ones first. It then turns brown and starts to affect the jagged edges of the leaves. I was afraid it was nute burn so I rinsed with clean water last night but the problem is still worse. Do I need to flush more? Help!!

Here is how it looks at the start:

Here is the first true leaf on the plant, the oldest:

Here is the whole setup, I dont want to lose them! It is starting on the indica in the back left now too, just a tiny bit.

Thanks for viewing guys, post your thoughts...

are you measuring your Ph and ppm? im a little hydro illiterate but thats what the problem looks like to me

how are your temps? and you havent fed them yet have you?

I feed them a very weak solution about 100ppm, my water starts around 100ppm and I keep the pH between 5 and 6 every time I water. Could it be lack of water? The larger plants may be drinking more than the little ones which seem to be doing fine.

Rockwool sux!! Try using float and grows for your cuttings and seedlings. (just my very strong opinion)

I think you have a PH issue.. It looks like a slight nute burn also.. Flush it all, see if you can ditch the rockwool (cut it away) and put the plant directly into the hydroton. Moist rockwool creates alot of problems.

Light+moist rockwool=[H problems, algae, mold, sick plants..

Try adding some h202 (hydrogen peroxide) to help breakdown any root buildup (algae, fungi etc).

I am getting H2O2 this week so I hope that helps. I have also heard I should cover the rockwool to prevent light from growing the mold. Thanks for the tips, I'll see if I can cut some wool away if they havent grown in too much.

next time youre at the grocery store you can just buy some hydrogen peroxide, its the same thing.. and the float and grows are great, cheap and i've never had issues with em.. atleast your plants look pretty healthy.. have you been checking your PH? PH is the beginning (101) of growing.

I think your girls will be just fine with a little tender care my friend, i've recovered from much worse.

Great, thanks for the responses. I let the pH get a tad too high a few days ago because I went out of state for a few days and let the system auto water. Other than that the pH has been stable. I just flushed them again with some nice clean water at 80ppm (hell yeah Brita filter!) so I will check in the morning to see if they perked up. I noticed the leaves were a bit weak so under-watering might have contributed.

Thanks again reef, I'll let you know how it works out.

the yellowing leaves may get worse (likely to not recover) but new growth should be good.. alot of times we over react when we first see things like this and start over feeding etc.. Just remember that the current yellow may not return to health, but if you take care of the issue(s) new growth should be thumbs up..

best of luck to ya

Hey Reef! That white fuzzy stuff on the rockwool is just salt buildup, when I flushed the plants it went away mostly. Also, the plant that was looking the worst is now a darker, healthier green color. Thanks for the advice man! I'll flush again today and make sure I flush the babies too since they might be stunted.

Thanks again...
