HELP!! Potential Hermies

Not sure what to make of this. These balls are appearing all over the plant. i've never had a pollinated plant before so not sure what it looks like. are these pollen sacs or seeds literally about the size of a seed, looks like a seed and had a hair or two coming out of most of them. day 30 btw. After further examination it appears that the balls are not originating from the pistils.they are beginning as very tiny balls and coming from the buds. there appears to be a new growth of very tiny balls all over the plant as well as the larger ones. the smaller emerging balls also have hairs

That would be a pregnant lady right there. Nothing to do now but let her finish n get some beans:bigjoint: If they were both great strains, congrats on step one of breeding. If ONE was only ok, then toasted seeds are a nice snack

nitrogen induced Hermaphroditism ? i had this happen once..... basically gave way to much n in the mid flower stage, and i think my plant tried to tie it up by any means of production that it could. but it had finished its stretch. honestly just speculation, and a guess. but i think it would pronounce itself more if the strain was unstable to begin with.

thanks for the reply y'all, there are only females in the tent, never exposed to males, i guess one of them hermed out on me... what a shame there are quite a few pollinated pistils :/ the two girls in the tent are girl scout cookies from garden of green seeds. Are these going to be feminized or even useable seeds? Or will they be crap b/c they pollinated themselves?

eh your not that bad, seeds are viable. you know you can just go through them and pluck them off since your so late in flower. If you do run them make sure you put an S1 next to them. Also since you do have them, you may wanna think of moving out for the time being while the rest are flowering.....just my 2 cents

im just starting my breeding project so im new and inexperienced. but digging through the tedious knowlege that goes back and fourth i think;
seeds from the lady that started spitting seeds should be hermaphrodites. but i think you could breed that out technically, with a pheno hunt. but not alot of people have the ability to do that. and getting all the same thing would suck....
if the other two havent shown this trait, they might be okay, it could just be that single pheno. and not have been pollinated at all. or maybe just a branch (like a controlled pollination). in that case loss will be lessened. but honestly every single person iv talked to including myself have had crazy stuff happen to cookie strains. one of my la cookies did this exact thing.....
do all your phenos vary a lot? its probably just a strain that need more stabilization.
if you feel zealous. you could;
  • collect the pollen now and freeze it. in a small container. ( like a tictac box or contacts case) or just let the seeds mature and take them. and re do the pollen process later.
  • re-veg your best lady after harvest.
  • pollinate the re-veg or a clone from the re-veg
this should take strictly female pollen from the herm. and pollinate a female plant. giving you a very high female percentage. it will produce mostly female seeds and stabilize the genetics to the known healthy one you pollinated.
