  • So, first grow and I've had my plants in 1 gallon pots all the way to week 2 of flower. I just realized that the 1 gallon pot was not going to be big enough and am going to transplant to 3 gallon pots tonight. But my plants are pretty small and i was wondering if it was not able to grow much due to the pots?

First off that center bs thing ya did there is a pain in the ass. Never do that again, ever. Secondly how are you growing them? Two week veg then flower which shouldnt hurt the size much with a 1 gallon, or two month veg which would definately affect the growth rate.

Without pics, details on what pretty small means, lighting, etc it is impossible to answer. But it certainly could have had an impact.

Well it shouldnt be hurting size much then. How often were you watering it, how much, nutrients?, soil type?, light source? Temps?

It was a month veg
Your plant only can get as big as you allow the roots to grow. If a root tip hits something hard, it trys to force its way through it, If it cant't it grows around it. Lift your plant out of the bucket by the base of the stem and look at the roots, can you see them forming a shape of the 1 gallon bucket and growing in circles? If so, just transplant into a 3 gallon bucket, Its not that big of deal and will take you 10 min for peace of mind.
