II don't grow by their books. Its basic Botanic knowledge if you top thd plant you are cutting the most potent part of the plant. Its a simple fact. Show me where it says otherwise. I've got all night. I want to see the source of your argument. Direct me to the place.
you top long before it flowers...how can that effect the potency?i can give you numerous pages on why to top a plant...find me one on why not to top one

I've said it a thousand times before and i'll say it again. Your problem is your soil. There will be growers on here that will say, " i use miracle grow and look at my journal". Bla bla bla. For a newbie it sucks. You have to learn to use it. And then your dealing with chemicalz that release every time you water. Your babies cant handle it. You are burned my friend by the soil. Period
i relate ( and gotta make my msg bigger to let me post )

im not here trying to prove im a better grower than anyone...i dont feel the need to post pics of my plants on other threads to make myself feel better...my profile pic shows what i grow.and ive got a few grow journals on here, just search for ruiner if need be..that should be good enough.at no point in time in this thread are you trying to help anyone...just trying to obtain an ego boost...and ive been growing for about 13-14 years....long before digital cameras was around to do pics.what i pass along is knowledge based on what ive had happen or what ive used that works...as opposed to you who puts down methods they have never even used
great point dj this guy is just a buster!! he's not here to help anyone and he doesnt have the right chemistry in his brain to learn..

so what are you doing here if not to troll and be a nuisance..

That's what I thought. You're just blabbin. Do you grow in miracle grow? All this came from me telling this guy he would be better off spending a few extra bucks on better soil. And you guys are calling me a fool for doing so. The jokes on you buddy.

If you are short on space (sog, scrog) it workz and you may very well have a bigger yield. I get that. That doesnt mean youre not cutting off the most potent part of the plant. Maybe its your brain thats incapable of understanding the point im making.

The main cola grows on the main stalk. Duh. When you top the main stalk stops, now the top of the plant is split in two, which means what? Duh again. It has to divide the good shit between the two. Duh fkr the third time. Do you see where im going with this? Duh its pretty elementary

There you go. I advised him to transplant to better soil. Why is that bad advice. You said yourself you wouldn't use mg. Seriously. I'm starting to see why you have so many posts.

Bonjo the funny thing is, both these guys calling us trolls grow in water. I've never grown and kind of hydro. You would never see me posting on a hydro thread. What the fuck. I'm sure they'll say, I grow soil too or I use to grow in soil. Bla bla bla bla

This is the single funniest thing I have read on this forum in a longtime. 'Dividing the potency'. All of my topped plants are only half as strong! Oh my! NOT. LMFAO Cadeneli is nominated for a 'Darwin Award'. Sure winner.
OP and others that are growing in MG soil. Looks and sounds like most of you are experiencing a magnesium def. 1/4 tsp Epsom salts per gallon of water for a drench or 1/4 tsp per quart for a foliar feed. CalMag, Magical of the like would help also. And the OPs plant does look quit hungry also.
