Help Picking Soil

Hey guys anyone have an opinion of a cheap but good organic soil. IM going to add bone meal, blood meal, bat guano, worm casting, and some dolomite lime to keep ph neutral. Any opnions on a soil that is pretty good and easy to find. responces will be appreciated. thanks

not to sure man, just go to your local greenhouse and ask sumone for cheap non time based nutes soils

im kinda looking for brands, and places to find it. Home depot have anything worth buying? how do you go about picking your soil?

There are so many good soils out there, just read the ingredients in the bag. In SoCal, Kellogg and SuperSoil are really good. I love the Kellogg Patio Plus because it has kelp, bat guano, and worm castings already in the mix. Pretty much everything that FoxFarms has but costs only $7 per cubic foot at Home Depot.

Miracle Grow *Organic Growers Choice* is some good stuff. Grab a bag of that and a bale of sphagnum moss, an equal amount of your local "dirt", the blood meal, bone meal, dolomite, etc. and you should have an awesome soil mix. Make sure to let it marinate for a couple of weeks before putting your plants into it. You might want to scoop out some before you add the blood meal since it's about pure N; you don't want to burn your babies up. I'm using a mix almost identical to this.

well i know what soil mix i wanna do. im just looking for a good base soil.
