Help On Type Of Bulb Needed

i have a question a friend of a friend is selling a 400w mh system, but it doesnt include the bulb, told me hed sell it for $70 which isnt bad, since all ill use it for is vegging ect, im just a lil confused on what type of bulb its gonna take, i asked him for make/model in an email and ill copy and paste what he said....


Sun system 5 400MH. Relamp with a 400w type M59 bulb. Ballast is a 120v.4A.400W.60Hz


he said he purchsed a bulb for it befor which said cost around $98 for the M59 Bulb, im not sure if that system might be able to take different MH bulbs, or if it does HPS/MH, im interested in the system from him but only if i can get a bulb at a decent price paying 100 bucks for a bulb then buying the system from him used isnt really all that good of a deal cause i can get a new system cheaper, ne1 out there that might know about this system and what MH bulbs it takes and if so how much price range cause i cant seem to find much on this, all the help i can get id appriciate it

pretty sure its ballast dependent, like if your ballast is magnetic/electronic/digital. not familiar with what you have, but a pic could help. how much is your friend selling it for? bc you can get a complete new 400w system for under 200$.

hes willing to sell the system for only $70 which isnt bad, but if the bulb does cost $98 like he claimed he payed then that would almost put me $170 in which like i said i could get a whole new system for $130 that is 400w MH/HPS.......im still gonna try looking more up on that model to see if it takes other types of bulbs or just that one
